"Just don't dare complain "

Just don't complain if you don't get service you pay for just suck it up as when you place next order they take your money then cancel it and get snotty reply tell you dared complain you didn't get the next series you pay for last time and now your blacklisted what wonderful customer service grow up

"AWFUL customer service"

AWFUL customer service. Due to a website/paypal error, I was charged for express postage, yet received standard. When I asked Scale Model Shop about this their email responses were short and blunt. I'm not too worried about a £2 difference, however the service was terrible. Made me feel awful as a customer and it's the last time I will order from them.

Update Since Sellers Reply: You're missing the point. Your service was terrible. Short and unhelpful. Here are some highlights:

"I can’t go back and forth saying the same thing"
(Making me feel stupid when there is a clear, black and white discrepancy on my statement).

"your order is in picking so I can’t make any changes" (This is approx 15 mins after the order was placed and also immediately after saying I could pay additional for the express postage (which was already paid mind you) Funny since after some back and forth you were indeed able to make a change by cancelling it).

If you had re-assured me, or showed some kind of helpful attitude rather than it's a 'your problem' tone then I would have just swallowed up the couple of quid or forgotten about it. So all the lack of care has done is lose you a customer. But it won't just be me if that attitude continues.

A refund was indeed processed. And funny enough... for the full amount that I was contesting.

"Drill starter arrived broken"

I ordered a drill starter and when it arrived via USPS the tip had been broken off. I contacted Art Lanski and that day he had two replacements in the mail at no cost to me. They obviously stand behind what they sell. Kudos to them. I will definitely shop with them in the future.

"Abysmal experience with John"

Abysmal experience over email with John. They had an out of date image of a rolife super creator kit (the cafe) on their site, so I assumed that they were still stocking this variant, which I was not able to find anywhere else. Apparently they were just lazier than everyone else and didn’t change their listing. I asked for a return label since I didn’t receive the product pictured and was told that I was in the wrong because “the layout is the same”. Never mind that the aesthetics of this kit whose only purpose is aesthetics were entirely different. It bordered on gaslighting since he said “It is not false advertising” when it is by definition. Would not order from them again. Dishonest practices.

Update: he condescended to me one more time in his email offering me the chance to book a return - “ If you can’t see that the pictures are pretty much the same then we must be looking at different things, see below for returns info.” We were not looking at different things since I sent him a screenshot of the listing I saw … “pretty much the same” is not good enough ..you have an image of a different item up on your site. Bumped up to 2 stars from 1 because he is letting me return. Keeping the negative review because he was so rude about it and only let me do the return because I said I would do a chargeback (I suspect he knew I would win my chargeback case).
