We have two large dogs that like to be chauffered to the beach and having just bought a new car to replace our van, we decided that a bootliner was essential. Initially we wasted money on a cheap (ish @ £34 + P&P) universal bootliner (from an online outlet) for our Jaguar X Type Estate . It did not stay in place and was as much use as a chocolate teapot. One universal bootliner for sale......... :-)
We searched on line and decided to invest in a custom made liner from BMB Hatchbag. We were a little apprehensive as it was over £100 which included a bumper flap. I was very impressed by the customer service who helped me (online) through the purchase process as I was a little unclear as to what I needed to order. It took under a week to arrive and I must say the quality is superb and it fits like a glove, perfectly contoured to the shape of my boot. It looks great in situ.
It was simple to fit although I benefited from my wife helping. It is essential to follow the pre fitting instructions about removing any silicone coating from the plastic facia using the suggested cleaning product. This enables the velcro fasteners to be stuck on without any problem.
All in all I am so pleased that I invested in this bootliner, although much more expensive than the universal ones it was well worth the extra investment. Would definitely buy another when we change cars next time. Definitely a 5/5 score A+++

"Brilliant fit - delivered in days."

I previously had the car manufacturers boot liner which was sadly not fit for purpose. The Hatchbag fits, perfectly, provides more protection and is quite honestly better quality. Oh, and is was nearly £30 cheaper than the manufacturers offer.

Absolutely hassle free,arrived within days of my order,fitting simple enough though I think it could do with more Velcro on the base.Only time will tell if its up to the job of carrying my 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks,so far very happy.

I could have bought something for much less money but there was nothing else I found on line which matched the promised quality. When it arrived I was not disappointed. All fits as expected. Will definitely recommend to others when necessary. Just one comment. My Volvo, in common with others,has a "shopping" panel which lifts up for easy stowing of shopping without having to reach into the boot. A simple flap in the floor of the liner might be a design improvement worth investigating. If you decide to do it I will be happy to test it for you!!

My boot liner turned up just a couple of days after I ordered it,in fact that was two days earlier than they said it would. Fitting was a dream I had it in the car and ready to use in about thirty minutes. Great quality product and first class service.

Love this product. such a good idea. For someone like me, who likes things neat and tidy, this is the best boot liner I have found.

I Recently bought a very clean and shiny Audi A6 avant and didn't want the dog, golf clubs or mountain bike to make a mess. I also didn't want to throw rubbish boot liners in and make the car look cheap and tacky.

The hatch bag is brilliant, but with a few tweaks could be perfect. It's relatively straight forward to install, but a simple, cheap stencil to show you exactly where to stick the Velcro tabs on the boot door would have been ideal. As well as 3 more Velcro tabs on the said liner which would give it all round support.

Practically, it would make more sense to have the sides of the main boot liner with velcro flaps to access the storage boxes in the wheel arches but I can see why they haven't done this, and honestly doesn't make that much difference. As it is, the liner can be peeled back with ease and put back in seconds. The velcro tabs that fasten the liner to the head rest could also have been sewn in on the other side of the seems to prevent twisting. Its not an issue and with my pet guard up I don't see it, but aesthetically, it would have been more pleasing on the eye for it to sit flush on the back of the chair.

Thee above; in no way detracts from the from the product at all. It still covers all the right places and looks neat and tidy. (I'm just a perfectionist with an acute attention to detail).

The dog hasn't been in it yet but I can say with confidence, that even he won't be able to wriggle enough to dislodge the liner, it is stuck fast.

We also went all out and bought the liner with the seat split, seat extension, head rest cover, bumper flap and boot door cover. Whilst I would say the cost is about right for the liner given the material, design, manufacturing etc, I'm not sure the headrest and bumper cover are worth the extra money. I'm certain I could have made them for a fraction of the price, but they are very handy and do match perfectly.

Will definitely recommend the product to friends and family, and would definitely buy again if I changed car.

"Splendifferous"

I have had a hatchbag before and have transferred it to my newer vehicle without problem. This model car is a completely different floor pan so required the latest BAG. Wow how it has moved on, this latest edition is near perfect.
