7Shifts platform and the support staff behind the program have made it very easy for our business to schedule our employees. Although we currently do not use the budget or labour tools we are finding that the communication and ease of use from smartphones with 7Shifts is invaluable to our business. We have 2 locations across town from each other, with 7Shifts it has made it incredibly easy for scheduling and communication for managers and staff. They feel 'linked' together through this program.

Lots of great features. Helps managers stay connected as well as all employees. No more slips of paper with requests for days off. It's all submitted and approved through the app. We are also able to block days that we don't want anyone to take off.

Employees have more control over their schedule - they can enter their availability, time off requests, put their shifts up for grabs and bid on open shifts all in one place. Its easy to use for the staff and for the scheduling manager (me). All requests are in one place so instead of me having to check emails, text messages, and notes, all I have to do is log in and start scheduling. The template and drag/drop functions make creating a schedule a cinch. The chat and announcement functions are great too - I can tell staff about meetings, training classes, specials and general announcements all in one place instead of having multiple email threads and text message chains going and the staff can communicate with one another easily.
In addition to how easy the app and website are to use, the customer service has been excellent. Any time I have a question or a problem I receive timely responses from the 7shifts team. I recommend this app to every manager I know.

The only problem I have ever had is that as the account owner I don’t seem to get my notifications. Everyone else does but I miss them. Really speedy and best combo of scheduling and timeclock we have used. Good app and good web app, nice package.

7Shifts is awesome and very easy to use! Any time I've had a question or even needed help building out a schedule they were there to help me! They even took my old excel schedule and created templates for me to use when I did the schedule on 7shifts! The staff loves the app too! Super easy to use, love the push communications and it makes sending out info on new items or changes to the menu super easy. Another great thing about 7shifts is the ability to schedule for more than one location. Earlier this year we opened our second location and some of our employees work at both places, without having to do anything else they have access to shifts at both locations all within the same app! I would highly recommend this program to anyone in the industry who is looking to use an online scheduling program.

"So far, so Great!"

We have been using 7shifts for about 18 months so far. We started at one of our locations, in the beginning, to test it out, and now we use in all of our restaurants. The software is very easy to use and intuitive. I love the ease with which shift exchanges is handled, it is a matter of few taps on your mobile device, it can be targeted to specific employees or positions, and a manager can approve or decline the exchange with one click on the web, or a tap on their app. That was one of the biggest hassles before we started using 7shifts, all the search of who is available, what’s their number, who needs to approve it… I’m sure everyone in the field is painfully familiar with the process. We also sometimes share employees between locations, which is handled very well by 7shifts. We also love the way availabilities and requests for time off are handled, the push notifications and the simplicity of communication between users. The support is great too. The few times I had questions, the staff was quick to respond and very knowledgeable, often that was done through the live chat option on the website. I think it is also quite important to note that the 7shifts app for mobile devices, which is also well done, is free for all users. I just think it is unfair to ask your employees to pay for an app, whatever the price may be, in order to easily view and interact with their schedule.

Even though I would not take a star off of my rating just for that, I think it will be honest to mention the one little thing I don’t like about 7shifts. That is the availability glance view, I hope that will be eventually organized better.
