It sure does beat making schedules the old fashioned way. I really like the integration with my POS system and the ease of making sure I have all the information in one place when creating the schedule. Running a restaurant both as a chef and front of house manager leaves me very little time for anything. So having something like 7Shifts is honestly a blessing. Thanks! I would highly recommend using 7Shifts!

Support is a little rocky. Some issues takes a few days to resolve and hard to get the right person on the phone. If they tighten that up everything would be amazing.

Hate that it doesn’t alphabetize it for you. Hate that BOH can’t see who’s working FOH. Vice versa. Not convenient for people who have more than one role for the company.

I like some of the back office functions, such as the log book, the instant visibility to labor costs, etc.
However, the scheduling tool absolutely stinks. There was zero design foresight in this tool. PLEASE have someone creep on Sling and copy their design! The fact that associates who work in the same "department" but with different roles can only show in one role area on the schedule is maddening, they can be scheduled for multiple roles, YES, but at a glance one cannot see that person if their "primary role" is different. It is hard to quickly verify that each role is covered appropriately when having to scroll up and down the page to find people who may work as a bartender one day, a server another day, a cashier on a different, etc.
I had to create a separate excel spreadsheet to first build the schedule and then print that out and manually transfer the schedule to 7shifts in order to avoid making errors.
Also, the whole page is littered with distracting clutter. The end user only needs to see, people's names, hours and roles. Create an on/off switch for the labor projections to show or be hidden while in the process of building it.
I do like that availability shows up, but that did on Sling as well and way less eye clutter in the process. Again, creep on Sling, get some ideas on how to simplify this tool!
