"7 Shifts is a well designed app, except…"

7 Shifts is a well designed app from the user interface standpoint. Easy to schedule, make annoucements, add shifts, drop shifts among employees. The software itself, is terrible, unreliable, does not stay logged-in, does not send notifications, even if the person has opted-in to all notifications. I'm the owner and usually the last to know if an employee is dropping a shift because I don't get those alerts.

This scheduling app is great with one exception, it needs the ability to publish schedules by department without publishing the entire staff schedule. If they could create that ability I would give it 5 stars. We have been using seven shifts for several years now and that is my only complaint.

The chat bubble on the screen is always in the way. Running the tabs down the left side of page is not helpful or easier when looking for or writing the schedule.

As far as customer service, my experience has been great so far.

My only concern is our new “WORKS PLAN” we DO NOT need all these bells and whistles! All we need is a basic plan with over 30 employees… we might be forced to consider other options by the end of the year. :(

Easy to navigate and equipped with tools to make communication between all staff and management easy. I could always easily find what I needed in the reports.
