I am giving 7Shifts a rating of 2 stars. While I find it useful as a scheduling tool, it often gives me a headache. One particular issue that I dislike is having to change an employee's flag from "No-show" to "None" every day. I believe "None" should be the default, and I should only have to update it when someone is sick or late.
Additionally, the premium featured links on the page can be distracting and frustrating, and it would be helpful to have the option to disable them. Another feature that I think would be useful is the ability to send schedules to individual employees instead of having them view everyone's schedule. In the past, an employee got confused and missed their shift because they mistook their time for someone else's. If 7Shifts could add this option, it would be beneficial for me and other users who manage multiple employees.

We have been a client for awhile now and the customer service is terrible. The online chat takes forever and I can never get a live person the phone

Always very easy to use. Especially like the ease of staff swapping shifts, and blocking "time off" periods for special events. And hovering over employees availability makes completing a schedule 8-10x faster then using Excel.

"Love 7 Shifts - It would be perfect if we could fix logbook access."
Overall, we enjoy the use of 7Shifts for scheduling, vacations, etc.
What we have asked for on multiple occasions, is for the manager's logbook to be by department - or - allow us to enable access manager by manager. Our f&b department make great use of this feature and the other departments don't use it at all. The challenge is that the content can be of a private nature and should not be read by leaders outside of the food & beverage department.
Also, we have promoted a couple of servers to Captains and would like to give them access to the logbook - however, previous leaders (no longer work with us) have written about these two newly promoted captains in an unfavorable way. I've tried deleting these entries so that I can give them access and not worry about their feelings being hurt by going back in time and discovering what was written by them. Is there a work around for this? Currently, we are using Google Sheets to communicate the necessary information needed but we would rather get back to our logbook.

No complaints with the mobile app for iPhone, but the iPad and desktop interfaces are practically unusable. Attempts to select items on screen fail because the wrong item gets selected.
