"AVOID THEM!!!"
Ordered a full set of febi bilstein rotors and pads for a friends vehicle that im working on, was asked to give out excessive information before the order was processed "to ensure" the items would be compatible to which they "confirmed" everything was suitable and would fit.
the rotors and pads fit fine, the expensive clip kit i ordered was wrong and didn't fit, nor did the rear pad clips fit,all of the clips were too small for the rotors themselves and the wrong geometry for the caliper brackets.
I asked to start a return and refund process for the clip kit, and for a partial refund for the brake clips that came with the rear pads.
Instead of simply processing my request and doing their own investigation internally while contacting febi or their suppliers to correct the mislabled inventory they have sent me laborious emails asking me for every bit of information they already have that makes me feel like they can't scroll down through a email chain or look at the original order information, which they already have, they are making what should be a very immediate and simple process turn into something extremely labourious and a waste of time for the customer.
I've used this company once for pads for my own vehicle and had no issue, but them being this terrible at such a simple process has really frustrated me and I will never be using or recommending them to anyone ever again, I'd rather go to Autodoc in the future - that's how bad this experience has been.
If you must use them, use Ebay as you get Ebay buyer protection and will be refunded before they get their money and they can't refuse you due to Ebays terms of service, do not buy from Parts in Motion directly!

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE!!!!!!!! I Would not recommend to anyone to buy parts from these. I purchased a clutch kit and it snapped straight away had to order a new clutch from another company it only came in 2 pieces had to use the part that was fine on new clutch and sent the broken clutch plates back. They refused to pay me back for the clutch minus the 3rd part which is more than fair as it was damaged before it was fitted just not picked up prior to sending it out. So I basically paid for a broken clutch.

"Refused to refund, accused me of lying"
I returned a drive shaft in original condition to these guys as I didn't need it.
Upon receiving the return they kept £74 from me and accused me of fitting/damaging the part which did not happen. It never left the boot of my car.
If the part had been fitted to a car, then they sent me a second hand part, claiming it to be new, then kept my money.
I literally did nothing wrong but was point blank accused of lying and they defrauded me of £74.
Will never risk using this company again and I am persuing legal action against them.

First time dealing with this company but outstanding service. Even received replies to questions outside of normal hours. Needed to return an item as no longer required and process was easy, fast and credit raised same day goods returned. Prices are competitive and range is excellent plus website is easy to navigate. I don't normally write reviews but they deserved it and in particular Sarah who was really helpful

Ordered 4 glow plugs from partsinmotion,to find one box open inside package and no glow plug inside box or package.Messaged partsinmotion waited a while and back came Charlie with a message he would look into it and he did successfully to my satisfaction.Charlie sent me another glow plug to replace the missing one.I have used partsinmotion before and will again Charlie went above and beyond to fix the problem can't thank him or his company enough.5 star experience.

I order a battery for my ford focus through them on ebay but the battery came damaged and was leaking acid from the corner of the battery. I had to send them proof of damaged to the battery and packaging a big thanks to Harry who was my contact with this problem who offered me a refund or a replacement I opted for a replacement which came the next day with a different courier service and the battery was perfect so I fitted it my car and all is good with the new battery so I would recommend this company fi

"Excellent Service!"
I ordered a rear wiper blade last Thursday via eBay and it arrived on Monday. Unfortunately, the box had been bent by the great Royal Mail and the blade had broken. I messaged them immediately and they arranged for a replacement to be sent today on a next day service. Shout out to Grace who handled the contact perfectly! UPDATE 12/3/25 - The replacement wiper blade arrived this morning in perfect condition, so thanks once again!

"Have to say one of my best experiences…"
Have to say one of my best experiences ordering from eBay even the I received the wrong item ! The issue was totally down to Royal Mail who had some how damaged my parcel and replaced my angle grinder with a women’s shirt ! But one message to parts in motion and I was contacted 30 mins later by Charlie who requested some photos and promptly processed a new angle grinder to be delivered the next day !
Customer service doesn’t get any better than this !

"Part got here, never saw it as courier dropped it - rejected."
I never even got to see my part that I ordered from these uncaring time wasters via ebay order nu: 18-12775-50187. Sure, they sent it faster than grease lightening but the trouble is the delivery guy was more concerned with carrying out his social life on his phone (in his right hand on loudspeaker) than he was about the safe delivery of my parcel. You have bluetooth earpieces for that sort of thing - they allow the use of both hands!
He couldn't find it, got up into his van, found it, as he's getting out, he's dropped it - around 4ft - straight onto the road. Then thinking he's not been spotted, he's come to my door to deliver it. I pointed out that he's dropped it and tried to open it to inspect it. He's refused to let me open MY package saying once it's opened he can't take it back and I'll have to book a collection if it's damaged. So I refused to accept it and sent him on his way with it. At least he was honest enough to update the tracking to say delivery was refused.
So I contact PartsInMotion by ebay to put it in writing. Then I called them - twice. Their answerphone says to leave a message and someone will be in touch within 1-2 hours. I heard nothing. Sent more ebay messages, nothing. Nothing at all.
The tracking shows the parcel as refused so there is no doubt from their end that they will get it back and yet they ignore my messages asking for a refund.
Look right here on trustpilot, FedEx have a 1.2 star rating and yet that's who these clowns use to send items out to people using drivers who care more about their private phone calls than delivering items to their customers in a decent manner.
So to sum up, these guys use a courier service that is incompetent, doesn't care about your items (or breaking them), they won't respond to any problems and they certainly don't want to refund you. They'd rather just completely ignore you.
I suspect next they'll tell me that they've got to go through some warranty claims procedure or something that'll take X weeks having read some of the other 1 star reviews on here. The reality is they have legal obligations that they must meet and yet they seem to prefer to ignore people instead.
Absolutely atrocious company.
There is nbo doubt in my mind they'll reply here pretending to give a damn but they won't speed up my refund will they - or answer any ebay messages. They'll just continue ignoring me while pretending in public to care. My advice? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL.
Can't comment on the quality of the item purchased as I wasn't allowed to see MY item! Apparently the courier and the sender have more rights over what I've paid for than I do.
