The issue came at delivery. I’m unable to post a link to view what X Van Lines did to my new driveway and newly seeded/strawed yard. It’s against the rules of posting on here.
I filed a complaint with the BBB to get this claim moving since the company fails to keep in constant communication with me regarding the status of my claim and now they’re trying to say I’m the only lying. Idk how I can be lying when I have literal video evidence of where the two incidents took place. Please note, I had two deliveries go bad on back to back days. After pottery barn messed up the first day (in a completely separate location form where x Van lines did damage) I was sure to tell the x Van lines driver to avoid the turn around. Of course, they’re trying to say the driver was never told. Of course he was. He was very nice about it. He took full responsibility, said how sorry he was, and how mistakes happen. I was appreciative of their honesty, and their admittance of guilt.
I’m not playing games with a company who is literally on camera, causing damage to a brand new house.
The movers damaged the inside within 48 hours of doing our final walkthrough. We have signed affidavits from our builder stating that there was no damage to the house and nothing needed repaired. WHAT ARE THE ODDS that the only damages in the house came from the entry way where the movers were and to a wall in the only bedroom that they delivered to? All within 48 hours of final walkthrough.
Avoid X Van Lines like the plague and just pay whatever extra money it is for another service. They are fighting me tooth and nail trying to say that I’m lying when they’re on camera. Anyone who may have a concern in the matter may reach out to me at any time for the video links I’m unable to post on this forum.

The ol bait and swich, took deposit said we had up to finalizing conversation to pull out, spent an hour on phone with the giy telling him EVERYTHING that was going. Then 3 days before they are to pick it up , call again, and BAM its now three thousand extra and no refund on deposit

We are moving from Wisconsin to Alabama and needless to say this is pretty stressful. Working with James has made a lot of the stress disappear. Once our house is officially sold we will definitely be working with James for our big move. Highly recommend!

Our move with X Van Lines was a complete disaster. The company engaged in a series of deceptive practices, including bait-and-switch tactics, exorbitant charges, and a complete lack of communication.
From the get-go, representatives Mitch and Chris promised a smooth move with their own dedicated team. They assured us they would be available every step of the way. However, on the actual moving day, both Mitch and Chris were mysteriously unreachable. Calls went unanswered, and emails remain unreturned to this day. This left us stranded with a crew of movers who spoke little to no English, making communication nearly impossible. It felt deliberately orchestrated to avoid any questions or concerns about the discrepancies from our initial agreement.
The move itself was a chaotic mess. The promised dedicated team vanished, replaced by third-party contractors who lacked professionalism. The pricing we were quoted ballooned significantly, leaving us with a final bill far exceeding our expectations. To top it all off, several essential items were missing, and numerous pieces of furniture, including irreplaceable family heirlooms from my great-grandmother, were damaged.
When we finally reached out to X Van Lines about these issues, their response was insulting. They offered a measly $200 discount in exchange for signing a "good faith agreement" that would silence us from leaving negative reviews or pursuing legal action. This further exposes their lack of integrity and willingness to exploit customers.
Save yourself the stress and heartache. Avoid X Van Lines at all costs. Choose a reputable moving company that prioritizes clear communication, customer service, and the safe handling of your belongings.
