I needed a special new dollars note for a special birthday. I left my details with Aneta to call me when available, she called me the next day to let me know that it’s ready to collect. Just been into the Leeds crossgates shop of no1currency to obtain some euros. Some of my notes were Scottish the rest English. I was told that Scottish notes were not acceptable which was apparently company policy.the assistant was very nice and apologetic . Strange this is a company that deals with most currencies from around the world even offering to by the foreign currency back from you, but not Scottish notes at all. This is pure discrimination on the Scottish , i pointed out that Scottish notes were legal uk tender. I have never been refused using English notes in Scotland. I am in and out of Scotland a lot with my work, i find the Scot’s very decent people and as far as i am concerned this is discrimination.

"Shop not open "

Received my email to tell me my currency was ready for collection. Went to the shop and it's closed. Phoned the helpline and they had no further information for me. Told me to try again the following day. I need the currency straight away though so ended up going to Post office.

Many are in very poor condition; dirty, some are torn.
So I now have $50 and $100 bills that I cannot use as the locals here will not take them in that condition.
Also most of the bills were $50 and $100 so not enough small notes.

Called into the branch at spindles in Oldham for £700 worth of Oz Dollars and was advised to order them online as no stock was available at the shop, ordered them that same day and email was sent to me just a couple of days later advising me they were now available for me to collect I got a great rate and have to say great service great rate what more could you ask for well done my sister received same service after my recommendation!!

I never get my currency from anywhere else. Rita in the Slough branch is always incredibly friendly, helpful and able to advise on currency options. Rates are always competitive and she has been able to help us with all our trips with a smile. I would absolutely recommend this branch for holiday currency.
