"Taking to long to make repairs "

When my mechanic submitted the claim, your staff were very difficult to work with. They requested information that was nearly impossible to obtain and took too long to respond. I had to call to expedite the process so I could get my vehicle back soon. Overall, I was not satisfied with the service provided."

"Tough"

I am disappointed in the length of time it took to get my claim addressed (putting aside the car was towed into the dealership last Friday after 5 PM and your office is closed on weekends). The dealership sent information several times on Monday; each time the information was sent to the company, it was sent to me. Once your company received all that was requested, the amount your company paid vs the amount I had to pay was ridiculous for a company that advertises how beneficial they are to customers. The parts numbers were sent to your company and matched the dealership's parts number; however, the prices were extremely far apart and non-negotiable. The labor prices were the same. I do not understand how the parts numbers are the same but the discrepancies in the prices are out of range. I was appalled with how a rental car is decided especially when the car has to be towed leading into the weekend. The rental is allowed only for the time it takes to physically repair the car. This means the customer has to pay for mobility during the weekend or depend upon someone else for transportation until the car is repaired. I probably could understand if your company has offered to pro-rate the cost of a rental until the company and the dealership could agree or negotiate prices. When I called the company and was told it would take 24-48 hours to review the requested information and requested and was denied a rental car that would be reimbursed by your company, I was surprised. Why not state these important details when you advertise for consumers to sign up with your company? I was totally disappointed with the service I received.

I regret purchasing a warranty from Merit Administration. My car was in the shop for three months, and ultimately, my claim was denied. The communication process throughout this ordeal was frustrating and unpleasant. I subsequently canceled my policy. I strongly advise against doing business with Merit Administration.
