"We did not buy- but amazing service!"
In a nutshell, we had a faulty appliance (bought elsewhere) which was tripping out our home electrics. We ordered a quality replacement at a bargain price from Kensington. After discovering it was just a faulty element, we cancelled the order. Gareth the salesman was totally professional and gave us a full refund. A company is only as good as the service provided when things do not go to plan. In this case, 5 stars and for quality appliances at excellent prices in East Sussex they cannot be beaten. I am a very satisfied non- customer who will be back!

I purchased a washing machine and fridge from Kensington appliances. They were very helpful and friendly, they helped me to pick out the best machine for my requirements and they were very patient with me taking my time. They were delivered and installed a day later and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely use them again.

I get all my electrical appliances from Kensington. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and the service is unbeatable IMO. I bought a Zanussi fridge and a Sharp microwave from them last July, and they were delivered for free the same day. And today I went in with my grandma who needs a new oven. The salesman took the time to show her how each works and he explained the features on them like fifty times because she's very forgetful. The guy was very patient, polite and respectful. It was really good customer service. I won't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I needed a fridge freezer and washing machine, tempted to go to a big store and so glad I didn't, Kensington guided me, the staff took into consideration how many people were in the household and what I needed most, probably would have bought inappropriate appliances if it was not for their guidance, all hail caring businesses!

"Terrible after-care"
I purchased a range cooker from Kensington. Despite being £100 more expensive than an on-line retailer, we decided to support our local businesses. The shop staff were decidedly lack-lustre on my 3 visits and I felt like I had to drag the information I needed out of them. After a few weeks, the cooker broke and was repaired first by Kensington and then twice by the manufacturer (which I had to organise). The manufacturer agreed that the oven was faulty and needed replacing, by which time Kensington had completely washed their hands of the matter. I tried to point out that I had given the money to Kensington so they should help to rectify the issue, but no joy, I was left negotiating with the manufacturer. During this time the staff were, at best, brisk and, at worst, downright rude. I will never buy from them again.

Just had my new range cooker delivered and I'm delighted. The delivery guys were super helpful as were everyone in the shop, and the price was great too, I got the hood at half price because I ordered it with the cooker. Really happy. Thank you

"Service is rubbish; avoid"
Ordered an AEG washer/dryer online. It arrived with a part missing. Telephoned and had a poor customer experience and then just got an email saying its under guarantee with the manufacturer. Go talk to them. No apology and no contact details.
