"Didnt realise expensive leather furniture was self assembly"

Was not impressed at all that the furniture was self assembly and that it would just be dumped in our building in pieces and left. Also didn't realise that such expensive furniture would be held together with Velcro. This certainly wasn't mentioned when we bought it or we wouldn't have.
Still cannot get the arms fitted properly and have had to hire people to take the packaging away.
Disgraceful, will not be purchasing anything else from these people and have circulated this info across our reasonably wide collection of friends and acquaintances!

I would recommend Oak Furnitureland's products on the basis that we purchased a mattress, a bed, lamps, tables and chairs as part of kitting out our new house. All products arrived as described and on time and we are very pleased with the overall service from the showroom discussions/negotiations, through to delivery and our ability to put the various products together. I would recommend this company for service, price and quality compared to other companies in its peer group.

We ordered our sofa in store and had a great experience, were explained all the ins and outs to do with finance and how we could pay it off within the next 12 months to not have to pay any interest.

The delivery was on time and we received a text to confirm, the only downside was that the sofa was just dumped in the lounge, left on its side all wrapped up and there was oil on the plastic wrapping. I couldn't have moved it into place on my own and a couple of the stands which were attached had been knocked in delivery so my partner had to force them back into place. Having bought sofas from other retailers who have delivered the sofa, unpacked it and popped it into place as exactly how you like it, it's these small things which make the difference and remove some of the hassle you then have to take on.
