"Great product but customer service has attitude"

Although we have no problem with our purchase and have recommended our new sofa, the customer service attitude stinks. We where intially given an order date, this was brought fwd ( great) and then changed and brought fwd again. This time we where texted on a Friday night at 11pm , bank holiday weekend , to say sofa was coming 9am Tuesday morning. How your meant to give your work this notice to take time off is impossible. Any how we work from home but would not be back till 9.10 am due to school run. We phoned customer service on the sat morning to inform them this, which they promptly tried to charge us a re-delivery fee, even though they had changed the date. We told them we would be here at 9.10am and they could stick their fee!. Delivery drivers turned up and left, as we where not here. Returned later with yet more attitude ! Head office had not fwd any of our comments on delivery times.

So to summise nice product but all dealings with customer service was attitude. Good luck if you get a serious problem

"Lovely sofa, excellent service."

The staff at Oak Furniture Land were great, helpful without being pushy. The communication throughout was excellent at every stage. The delivery guys were efficient and polite. At every stage everyone went the extra step to make sure it was a good experience - and I love the sofa.

"Furniture assembly"

We were very pleased with the service we received throughout, but a couple of our concerns would be that if you were a more elderly person having to assemble the furniture in your own home yourself it would be almost impossible and secondly having to dispose of copious amounts of packaging.

very good service. Would suggest some help unpacking and siting goods if customers are older and can't cope by themselves. Sure older customers would pay for the help. Otherwise very efficient service and excellent goods.

"Customer Service"

Great sofa and delivered on time but we nearly walked out of the store when paying for the goods when the sales woman kept trying to push insurance onto us. She would not take no for an answer. After the insurance she was trying to push unwanted care products onto us......You don't know how close we were to walking out and making a purchase elsewhere.

"excellent all round"

Was not going to visit store as was looking for sofa and chairs. Had no idea could buy these here - only came in to store as my friend loves the wood furniture - which I hate, my home is all glass and chrome. HOWEVER, great in store staff, no pressure even though I came in sure I wanted something totally different to what I fell in love with. Salesman did not push, delivery happened exactly when it said it would and delivery drivers super helpful when they saw I was on own and not able to lift things due to post-operative constraints. Cannot praise highly enough and have recommended to all my friends. Oak Furniture Land/Sofa store my first stop from now on.
