"Worst first impression"

Went onto the site to see if my area is covered the system said my area is covered, made a booking at 10am for an 11am pickup received a confirmation email stating the all is well and my order will be picked up at 11am. At quarter past 11 I call and ask how far the driver is, I was then told the driver is 10-15 mins away. At half past 11am I receive an email stating "Dear Sivuyile,

Thank you for placing an order with us. Unfortunately, you fall outside our pick up radius (10km from Sandton) and we will not be able to come pick up your order.

I understand our admin had promised pick up between 10 to 15 minutes and this was incorrect.

You can get hold of the below company and they should cover your area.

My work uniform was in ruins after a "revenge" incident with someone I stay with. Everything was saved!! I could not be happier. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Will be using you at least once a month!

"Bad 1st time experience with OnTheMove laundry"

I was a 1st time customer and despite booking my laundry well in advance I was phoned on the day to be told they could not come at 8am but 11am instead. Then on the day of delivery, the laundry came 45mins late. The same day you claimed to not have the right number for me and sent me an email instead yet you had called me the day before so you did have the right number.

I was at first skeptical of a service that picks and drops your laundry as I coudn't see the facilities etc. However I was so pleased and happy with the great service received as well as the quality of the cleaning! The prices were really affordable and I will definitely be using On The move again!

"Passionate about service - hahaha"

Really, really bad service for a company that claims to be passionate about it. I booked online as I was advised and pick up was confirmed by email and sms for the next day at 5pm. Eventually I contacted them to find out what was happening. That was around 7pm on the pick up day. They apologized and I was happy for pick up the following day then, at 10am. At 10 I received a phone call that the driver was 10 minutes away. At 10.40 I phoned and was told he would be here in 5 minutes. I waited another 10 minutes and then left to my appointment. I received a call at 11.20 telling me that the driver was at the gate! At that time, I had had enough. OntheMove Laundry is a wonderful idea but not with the people running it. Absolutely ridiculous service. No thank you.

I am an International traveller and used On the Move Laundry on a few occassions whilst in Johannesburg. Their service is superb and I will continue using them every time I am here.

They are trustworthy and their standards are very high since my laundry is always nicely ironed and packaged.

Nothing worse than returning from a long holiday with heaps of laundry. On Monday afternoon at work in 2 minutes, I sche­duled 7am booking for the next morning ( as I leave for work at 7:05am). Tuesday morning I was greet­ed on time with a wa­rm smile to collect my washing ( I wish I had taken down his name). Wednesday mo­rning, my perfectly ironed washing was returned in the most immaculate packaging. I was extremely pl­eased with the sevice and the care taken with my items. I de­finitely reccomend this service.

Terrible experience on more than one occasion- these include misplaced clothes, incorrect billing and worst of all unreliable and tardy. Don't appreciate small but regular domestic orders. Very very disappointing Colleta, Eddy, Lameck and the rest of the team
