Easy to log power cut this morning by ringing 150. Kept informed by text of progress of enwl in finding and fixing area fault. Fixed on schedule by 3pm. Must have been a busy day today with storm Ciara but great service thank you.

Iv been meaning to write this review for some time and finally got round to it after a very hectic few months. I just want to say what an amazing team you have!
Barbera and some of the other team members worked tirelessly to do everything in their power to help me get my electricity back on as my supplier wasn’t much help at all and I had a 9 month son at the time (now just turning 1 yr old)
They kept trying to speak to my supplier to get the issue sorted as well as ringing me everyday to check on mine and my sons welfare and to see if I was any closer to getting the issue resolved.
After 5 days I finally was back on supply!
Thank you so much for working above and beyond! You must be proud to have such a great team x

"An absolute joke!"
An absolute joke!
Power cut on Thursday night that lasted hours! Then again on Friday at 1:30pm to be left until 10:15pm until an actual generator was put up. Today is Sunday and still the problem is not solved but to then be in the middle of sorting breakfast out for everyone for the generator to be disconnected without warning and then left for a further 3 hrs with no electric!
Im on the priority register with having young kids in the house! The street is a small street of 5 houses so why could we not get any notice you were turning the generator off.
Its ok saying to keep warm by putting hats, gloves etc on but the rooms are still freezing and me and the kids were already full of colds. Plus the fright the kids have had and the explanations and kick offs we have had trying to explain to them why the lights aren’t working. Having to go to costa to simply warm up, charge phones and have something warm!
I am a food caterer with freezers full of stock for the Christmas rush and there is no way that food is ok to be left in the freezer for 12hrs whilst off! The minute anything starts to defrost slightly it has to be used straight away.
An absolute disgrace!!! And im sorry there is more to this than all of a sudden an incident with the electric cables underground, the fact that road works were happening further down the road and then that same day on Thursday this happens or the new builds around the corner are having work done tells me that the lines have been over powered! Rather than connecting them to the mains directly.
But no contact from you is a total disgrace

"Vulnerable people given no help!"
4th day of power cuts again in fulwood Preston absolute joke definitely putting a complaint into ofgem, I wouldn’t mind but it’s been on all night since 9pm yesterday workmen show up this morning messing around and it goes off again no warning no generator whilst they make a 4th attempt at fixing it Electricity north west hang your heads in shame elderly people around here who could have a fall in the dark, no heating, no hot water, medication that is life saving and needs to be refrigerated, cctv that keeps People safe, medical equipment that helps people breathe properly at night not to mention food spoiled. And the icing on the cake when asked if anyone has been round to these vulnerable peoples houses to offer help and advice no they only help when people call them to advise them of their needs! #disgrace #electricitynorthwest

Similar to the review from C below, I am having difficulty progressing a connection.
However, according to their Guaranteed Standards, once you have accepted a connections quote and paid any money required they have seven working days to contact you to discuss dates for the work. If they don't they should automatically pay you £15 a working day until they contact you. If they don't pay you, its a further £65 due.
So, don't accept poor service - refer to the Guaranteed Standards and put in a claim by e-mail.

"Power Cut"
Last Friday morning we were awoken to a very loud boom and all the electricity went off. I called Electricity North West and within the hour an investigator called. He said it was a fault with an underground cable. 2 hours later another man called and fixed us up with a generator. The following day a crew called and dug up the cable in our garden, installed a new cable and full power was restored. By Tuesday the hole was filled in and the flags re-layed.
Everyone I came into contact with from the company was polite, knowledgeable and efficient. I was impressed with their professionalism and willingness to help and their workmanship was of the highest standard.
