"Sold a new boiler on finance and now have had no heating for 4 weeks after it was fitted...no one seems to care"

I genuinely thought Hometree were the real deal *until* my 25 year old boiler died and they said they could not fix it - fair enough - they sold me finance on a new boiler the same day and the engineer came out 4 days later to fit it. In the process of fitting the new boiler the heating (which had been working perfectly prior) stopped working as there was apparently a "blockage" in my boiler mate after the work was completed. The company that fit my new boiler said "not our problem, it's a hot water boiler and the hot water is working" and Hometree said "not our problem, we don't cover Boilermates" despite having fixed the thermostat on it 4 weeks prior and not mentioning this fact. Had I known this I might have chosen differently from the system that I purchased from them on trust and the fact still remains that I have no heating, the boilermate is making a horrific noise but if I turn it off I have no hot water and I have a husband on the Priority Services list owing to a heart condition and two young daughters in the house. Thus far it has been 26 days since the boiler was replaced. It was only after 13 days that Hometree contacted me to say they're not prepared to do anything and I should - apparently - contact Hometree finance instead, It's a farce that has caused untold stress and worry and one I fear may well play out. Right now I see them as smiling assassins with absolutely no joined up Customer Service. My heating was fine - now it's not. What part of this should fall on me to resolve?! I am now thousands of pounds out of pocket and potentially even more so if this company do not step up to the plate and all the while my husband and children are increasingly at risk :(

Update - 9th October - no contact from Hometree other than an acknowledgement of complaint a week ago - I only get spoken to if I call and then just slightly embarrassed "nothing to tell you" type conversations. PLEASE JUST FIX MY HEATING - YOU BROKE IT - JUST FIX IT! I'm not asking for the moon on a stick, just some empathy and reasonable judgement on behalf of the decision makers.

"First class customer service from beginning and end"

We had a solar panel installation done by Spark which is financed and managed by Hometree Finance.
The installation was completed on schedule and in a very professional manner.
One thing to note that the price quoted by Spark included everything such as bird guards, Scaffolding, etc, which is not always the case with some supplier/installers.
Once the installation was completed and set up, the project was handed over to Hometree Finance, who manage the whole thing from there.
There was an issue with the customer interface which was caused by a third party manufacturer who supplied components used in the installation.
Both Spark and Hometree were straight on the case and basically took all the pressure off us to get the matter resolved.
Jody at Hometree Finance is an absolute marvel and true ambassador for the company, who was on the phone and email to the third party supplier regularly to resolve the issue, we cannot speak highly enough of her.
The third party Manufacturer was unable to resolve the issue successfully despite 2 calls to the house, so in the end Hometree Finance arranged that Spark would send out engineers to resolve the issue, even though neither Hometree or Spark where at fault in respect of the installation.
Spark successfully achieved sucess with one visit!
The upshot of this is that we have a very efficient solar panel installation that is performing brilliantly, combined with the first class management service offered by Hometree Finance that is ongoing for the next 25 Years!
We cannot speak highly enough of both companies and would earnestly recommend both of them.

We would recommend Hometree. They have a novel solution to the supply of solar panels which helps us save costs without a huge capital putlay.
Everythong was easy and clear.
