Our electric gates were supplied new 6 years ago and have operated exactly as required. This service was carried out by Josh clearly experienced and ready to listen although there were no problems needing attention. Very happy with the gates and the service. Good to deal with.

We had our gates automated 5 years ago and have only had to call West Country out twice to service the mechanism. The gates had stopped working properly this time, so Josh came and discovered a sensor battery needed replacing. Although it was something I could have done myself, while he was here, he carried out a full service, cleaning and lubricating all the moving parts. Josh was punctual, friendly and helpful with all my questions. Overall the cost of the visit was well worth the money.

"Love our electric gates"
We had electric gates fitted to our property designed, supplied and fitted by Westcountry Group. On the whole we have been extremely pleased with the gates, and the thought of not having electric gates now we have them... we couldn't go back to manual gates!
We spoke with at least 4 other electric gate suppliers, and only Westcountry could meet our needs. As said earlier, on the whole very pleased. The actual time frame for getting the gates fitted did take sometime, and longer than we would have wanted, I think this was unfortunate, but understandable as the world a couple of years ago was in turmoil (Covid). We have had a couple of issues with the operation of the gates, but the after sales service from Westcountry is very good, particularly recently, very efficient and responsive. Everything has been sorted at the soonest opportunity.
If I had a disappointment it is that now the gates have been up for about 2 years the finish of the gates has not weathered as well as I would have hoped, there are some small areas where paint has come off which I would not have expected. Also, the design of gate that we decided on had cedar infill panels, the carpentry on these is not as good as I would have liked, I think this is probably our biggest disappointment. However, would I use Wescountry Group again, yes. On balance we are pleased, and I think in fairness, my recent dealings with the team could not have been better.
