"1º- Te cobran el precio del remate +…"
1º- Te cobran el precio del remate + IVA, cuando en las subastas de otros sitios el IVA es incluido.
2º - El transporte de 9,99 que es una barbaridad, sobre todo si compras algo pequeño. + IVA también, total se convierte en 11,979 € (en el transporte ya ganan dinero también)
3º- El 25% + IVA del precio del remate. OK que le vamos a hacer.
Una puja ganadora de 6 euros se me ha convertido en 21,17 €. Lamentable

"Selling junk that’s only fit for the bin"
Been a customer of John Pye for a number of years and made some good purchases at the start. The standards have most definitely slipped over the last year and many of the items they sell now are only fit for the bin. My last 3 consecutive winning bids (all electrical) have all not worked and are only fit for the bin. JP customer service always give the same line ‘you should have viewed the product pre biding’ which is fair enough but not practical when the auction is 100 miles away and you are bidding on a pair of £30 ear pods. All in all things have gone south with JP and feel they are just rinsing people now. Closed my account and won’t be wasting my time with them anymore.

"Poor delivery... Recently successfully bid on items at…"
Recently successfully bid on items at Birmingham branch but didn't spot they were 'delivery' only items. I was a bit shocked at the near £15 delivery fee but put it down to experience. Its been over 10 days and my items have not even left the warehouse yet to be handed to FedEx for yet another wait whilst they find a useful delivery slot. If you're going to stop people collecting their goods, no doubt in order to make more money on the delivery, at least deliver the goods!

"Poor service"
Poor service, and with fees, tax, and compulsory delivery the costs increase pretty quick from a bargain to just as expensive as buying new.
Ebay is cheaper and has more accurate descriptions than items on here, honestly not worth the bother.

"Not what I purchased - substantial components missing."
At this point, in answer to the question, my experience has been awful!!
I purchased an expensive item in a JP auction. It took over two weeks to deliver something I had paid over £60 delivery for. Then when I opened the boxes I discovered a substantial number of the elements/components were missing - rendering the whole unit useless. I am currently exchanging details of the issue with JP. If the situation is resolved satisfactorily I will update this review to reflect JP's performance - hopefully positive. If it is not resolved satisfactorily I will also add an update.

"Hi,to all who have or are considering…"
Hi,to all who have or are considering buying electrical items from John pyes second hand, broken item auctions. When you receive your auction win and if it’s faulty, maybe your item has also been smashed whilst in transit 😉,which will mean John Pyes will have to refund as it’s their responsibility to deliver your won items undamaged,if they say no to a refund do a chargeback with your bank or your payment method and they will loose and you will get your money back, make sure you keep your invoice and a screen shot of their photo of the undamaged item.I have lost so much money with John Pyes over the years and will not use them again. Its a bad business and they should not be allowed to continue ripping members of the public off,and they are totally aware of this but John Pyes auction still continue

"It's a Con"
I bought a slim line dishwasher on auction as well as some Dior cosmetics and a Ralph Lauren polo shirt. These were all second hand and used/damaged without this being made explicit. The dishwasher was transported with water in it, had bird droppings on it so had be stored outside and arrived damaged as it soaked the packaging and my carpet. It was unusable. When I contacted John Pye they said I should have viewed it in person and took no responsibility to even refund the transport costs as it was full of water and packaging inadequate. The 2nd email was ignored by customer services. The dior makeup was so badly soiled the smell left a lasting residue in my house for weeks. I did not expect to be sold 2nd hand clothes, no where did it say 2nd hand used clothes. It's not a bargain. Avoid Avoid Avoid.
