"Dreadful Customer Service"
I have used the Currency Club 3 times. The first time was smooth. The second time, Royal Mail didn't deliver on the guaranteed day but did the next day and thankfully I was in. I assumed it was a one off issue with Royal Mail and used the Currency Club a third time. Once again, Royal Mail did not deliver. They claimed they did but I had video camera evidence that they did not. The Currency Club customer service was dreadful. It took me 3 months to get my money back as they tried to charge me a cancellation fee despite the fault being at their/Royal Mail's end.
If something goes wrong, it is absolutely not worth using them as their customer service is some of the worst I have ever experienced. Such a shame as when it went well, their actual service was excellent.

"Decent rates"
Decent rates, very quick delivery. Only issue is with getting small denominations as others have mentioned. I requested small and received the entire amount solely in multiples of the largest banknote in the currency. Can't fault anything else though and albeit it is a bit annoying having to change these up it is not too big of a deal considering the speed of delivery and conveniance.

"Very slow to refund missing currency"
I ordered $500 on 30th January. It arrived on time but $105 was missing. I contacted customer services straight away and provided all requested evidence. It took a lot of chasing and until 11th April to receive a refund for the missing currency. To be fair to customer service, they always responded within 1 business day, although their emails are always sent to spam by gmail. The whole process for refund takes way too long, regardless of who is at fault for the missing currency.

WE ORDERED EUROS 8TH APRIL 2025 AND THEY SAID THEY'D REFUND OUR CASH WHEN THERE WAS AN ISSUE.
WE ACKNOWLEDGE WE DIDN'T REALISE YOU COULDN'T HAVE A 3RD PARTY PAYMENT, MY ISSUE IS NOT RELATED TO THIS. THE ISSUE IS THE TOTAL LACK OF COMMUNICATION. THEY TOOK MORE THAN 3 TO 5 WORKING DAYS TO RETURN OUR MONEY. THEY DON'T ANSWER OUR CALLS AND SEND ODD EMAILS STATING THE CASH IS ON THE WAY BUT IT NEVER SHOWS UP. THEY'VE CAUSED US THE MOST MASSIVE DISTRESS, I CAN'T EVEN PUT IT INTO WORDS!
UPDATE - I am typing this 1st May 2025. I have sent The Currency Club 16 emails asking to lodge a complaint and speak to someone so this situation never affects anyone else in the future. Their response? One email stating please email to make a complaint. As an institution that handles money, I think this is appalling.
