Although NightSearcher initially despatched the wrong item, Nikki Williams from their sales team replied promptly and courteously to my email and arranged for the correct battery to be delivered. It is often how things are sorted after an initial mistake that is the real test of service. In this instance NightSearcher did well and I would recommend them. I bought a Zoom700R - which is a really nicely made and smoothly functioning headtorch, just right for my DIY - from a Building Supplies Shed.
But the battery wouldn't hold charge when not in use.
The Shed where I bought it was not easy to work with or travel to - so I raised the issue with NS.
They sent a new battery foc.
That's the sort of service the customer wants and appreciates. It's a small problem, and it's fantastic to find a company that cares (and about a reletively small purhase) and to have that problem solved.

I have had several of their products and they have all been first class, however, one small point about the security light I purchased, the control adjustments are built inside the unit, so you have to climb up and open the unit to make adjustments. Nicely water proof, but a bit of a pain for adjusting.
