I received the wrong shipment originally but Sini was very helpful and very responsive and helped me resolve the situation. The pickup was immediately scheduled and my shipment was located and scheduled to be delivered promptly.
Sini was quick in responding and made sure all my questions were answered and ensured I would receive my shipment without an issue and that was exactly what happened.

"Expensive but great service "
The movers came on time and packed all the goods. The one thing is that IMO more packing material was used than needed that added to the cost. It however didn’t prevent breakages of some minor objects (eg plates). Overall it was quite expensive.
The service however was top notch (the one issue is the unpackers on the receiving end were not as well trained in basic carpentry as those in the packing end esp with regards to higher end furniture). I would like to single out Sharmila on the receiving end for constantly following up to ensure the packages were received and unpacked successfully

"My experience with Universal…"
My overall experience with Universal has been good. From pick-up to delivery, they were very responsive. Although they split my shipment (LCL) into two different containers, which are arriving a month apart and causing some inconvenience, they took full responsibility for it.
Their team in India has been very supportive, from customs clearance to final delivery. I would especially like to mention two names: Keerthana and Sharmila. Keerthana explained and helped throughout the customs clearance process, while Sharmila assisted with the final delivery from the warehouse to the destination. Sharmila was very kind to accommodate my request to expedite the delivery since we had travel plans. I really appreciate her responsiveness.
I may need to go through some insurance claims depending on the condition of all the items. I also hope that the other part of my shipment (which was split at the origin) will arrive on time and that the process will go as smoothly as this one.

Overall a good experience. Movers were careful to not mar walls or floors. Could be more attentive to details; they almost left before house was emptied. Cleo and Satya were great, communicated well Would use this mover again and recommend to others.
