They replaced the resin in my system that was faulty under guarantee, however they charged $450/hour labor plus $155 service fee on top, not to mention a fuel surcharge. When i comented that their labor fee is equivalent to a top tier attorneys fee, they were dismissive and rude. Customer service - 0, value for money - 0.

I chose not use Dupure even though my home builder uses them. The level of communication and service is quite frankly pathetic.

If a company cannot or will not provide the minimal level of professionalism with a potential customer, then that's a concerning issue.

Don’t use Dupure softener system-like I did. I have BIG regrets. Their service scheduling is ridiculous: won’t give a reasonable window to take off work - only 9-5 . Once you opt for the Dupure System- you can only use their authorized people who will all have the same poorly managed, inept scheduling. As for their product it’s ok -but I wish I’d never used this company. Maintenance wouldn’t have been such a burdensome, cumbersome ordeal

Don’t ever use this company!!!! Our system was installed with our new home. DuPure contacted us to do our annual check. The cost was going be to $450 so we were hesitant to have them come. They emailed or called at least once a week until We finally agreed to do the check up. They came last week. We had to prepay the $450 with no guarantee of service, warranty, or support. The tech was in our home less than 12 minutes. Do the math. That $2250 a hour with their travel time included. Really. Who is worth that?

We have a tankless water heater also. Both were working perfectly prior to the technician checking our system. After he left, remember it was 12 minutes, the water only stays hot for a few minutes, going completely cold. We called DuPure and reported the problem. They now want to charge us another service fee to come back out, stating they don’t feel it is their fault. Can they prove it wasn’t their fault? Again both products were working perfectly before they came. There’s no customer service. They are only interested in getting your money. They refused to send someone back to check it without charging us again!!! Be aware of the lack of customer service if you decide to install their product. You will be paying way more for it than the original cost. We strongly recommend not using DuPure . We now have cold water, a system that is messed up and out money. We were crazy!!!

"Unethical practices"

Customer service and product are the worst. For background, my water softener was originally installed in 2019 without a base for support at the side of my house; and over time, it started leaning forward, causing the piping to start leaking. I called earlier this year to complain about that and was told if they were to send someone to reseat it will be some exorbitant rate (about $300+), so I ended up installing a guard around the tank myself and re-tightening the pipes back in.

Fast forward to 12/27/2022 and the inlet on the bypass valve broke and I have to call again on 12/28. They sent a technician who changed the valve (a less than $50 part, taking about 15mins to swap) and charged my card over $600. If that wasn't enough they also said the double check connection is leaking so they plan to charge $875 for that.

How is it that a company has no warranty on its products, seems not to care extorting their customers in this way? If you are looking an ethical company, you best look elsewhere.

JAY was our tech he was not only efficient but he was honest. I authorized a new blatter to be replaced but he informed me it was good for another year. Intregrety is everything!
