"Oh how I wish I found these reviews earlier. "
Oh how I wish I found these reviews before we moved. The movers arrived 2 hours late. Loaded our items. They said they couldn’t take our fish tank as it would break. Much to our dismay but we said ok. They were supposed to drop off at 9am the next day. They didn’t arrive until 5.30am the following day with no warning. Just showed up beating down the door. They hurriedly dumped things off. The breakages are extensive including a new barbecue and dining table totaling $3.5k value. Mattresses were supposed to be shrink wrapped but were so sustained damage, boxes arrived destroyed. The movers were very unprofessional showing up in thongs and slides. And the company’s shirks all responsibility even though you have evidence. Safe to say we are now off to court.

"Do not use this company "
Do not use this company , they have damaged my items. They didn’t not deliver my fridge and washing machine and tv unit. And have told me it will take 22 days to have it delivered too me. This is not good enough. Pathetic company with no remorse and full of excuses . Sent 3 contractors to drop off my items and they arrived at 10pm openly admitted to being under the influence of ICE and asked me if I wanted a pipe. They were all dripping in sweat and smelt. They would take breaks to go into the cabin of the truck to take another hit
When I told them that they didn’t have my fridge or washing machine or tv unit they all spoke to each other in a foreign language and told me it would be sorted out.
I spoke with Amar at IMOVE about the incident who then told me that there was no washing machine and called me a liar . I then spoke to the contractor JON who did the pick up he confirmed he still has my washing machine fridge and tv unit 19 hours away in another state . I asked for a refund or for them to buy the fridge and washing machine as I am now left with out one .He told me it would not be delivered until the 8th of January . The drop off day was the 18th of December.
I asked I move to asked there contractor for a refund as well and they told me I was not getting a refund and I would have to wait with no fridge or washing machine over the Christmas and new year period.
This company is honestly sickening they have no remorse nor do they have no sympathy. They hire contractors to move your load who aren’t qualified and are under the influence of drugs.
If something goes wrong they will not fix it they will try to avoid at all costs they only care about the money they have made off of you.
Upon receiving and unpacking my items I have found damaged bed frames , damaged picture frames and smashed cutlery , squashed boxes and damaged moving bags.
If I could give no star review this company would get the reward.
Attached is a photo of the truck that did this move. Do not let them move your item

"Avoid iMove at all cost!"
We completed a move with iMove on the 12th of Nov from VIC to NSW and the experience was deeply disappointing.
During the loading process in VIC, the movers dropped a sofa from the lift at the back of the truck on to a set of chairs and a TV that was next to the truck on the ground. Consequently, the sofa legs have been damaged along with the sofa backing. When we opened the TV once in NSW, we found that the TV has been broken as well.
This damage was clearly due to the negligence of the guys loading the truck as one of them simply placed the sofa upright on the truck taillift and started raising it without paying any attention. He was very unapologetic about the incident and seemed quite rude.
The guys turned up for pickup at 8:30pm in VIC when they were meant to be there at 2:00 and also came to drop off in NSW at 8:30 the next night. At the destination, they left some of the heavy stuff such as bedframes, drawers and a trampoline box in the garage when we had paid for this to be moved upstairs or in the backyard. Their excuse was that they were getting late! We then had to hire someone to move the stuff upstairs.
We have another two TVs that are still unpacked and I hope there is no damage to these TVs as they are very new.
I have written to iMove three times and each time followed with phone calls. Have never received a response to my emails including no acknowledgement. You should not be allowed to cause financial loss to your customer and not care about it!
Needless to say, I will be pursuing this further for sure. Hire them at your own risk as they clearly do not care about your belongings!

"Terrible Experience with iMove: Hidden Costs and Poor Service"
My wife and I recently moved from Sydney to Melbourne using iMove, and the experience was deeply disappointing.
After receiving full payment from us, iMove informed us that their truck couldn’t access our new apartment due to the hill it’s located on. Their proposed solution was for us to rent a ute, park their truck at the base of the hill, and shuttle items to our unit. However, when they arrived, they claimed the ute wouldn’t work, insisted we find a storage unit for them to deliver to instead and then pay someone else to make delivery from the storage unit to our new apartment. This was late in the day, and all storage facilities were closed. When I told them that was their responsibility, iMove recommended another moving company, which fortunately managed to deliver our items the next day—at an additional cost of $1,200 to us.
On top of that, we paid iMove $300 for priority service, only for them to arrive at noon, claiming we were their "first customer of the day." It was clear we weren’t.
In addition, iMove left us stranded without even a bed to sleep in overnight. They didn’t offer to get our bed out of the moving truck or arrange for a hotel.
In total, this move cost us significantly more than expected, and the level of service was unacceptable. We cannot recommend iMove and advise others to avoid them.

"Arrived a day late "
I booked a move from Brisbane to Wollongong earlier in the year. Was to be picked up Friday afternoon and delivered Saturday. They didn’t arrive until 10pm on Friday night so I had to rebook a flight. They were then supposed to deliver on Saturday afternoon/evening and that afternoon the driver told me they were too tired to deliver and would come on Sunday afternoon from Sydney. They eventually arrived at 10pm on Sunday night. I emailed to them but haven’t had a response.

"Would not even let these guys pay me to move my stuff"
This company does not even deserve a one star review, We moved from Brisbane to Sydney and we were given a quote for the move, We paid the invoice and awaited the day for the move, on the day the removalists turned up and started loading our belongings into the truck, they then told me that there is no place to unload at our new property and stopped packing our belongings so I called the office and they admitted on the phone that because I talked to a new staff member I was not given all the information up front, they mentioned I would now need to pay several hundred dollars for another truck/ute on top of the current truck I had already paid for, I told them I was not responsible for their negligence as they did not give me all the info and provide an accurate quote, the lady on the phone admitted it was an error on their end but they did not take any responsibility and I had no choice but to pay for a second smaller truck after speaking with my 3rd person on the phone they were rude and talking over me and didn’t have any care or customer service at all, we now arrived at our new place and found our TV to be broken in the move, I have emailed them about this but I doubt they would take any responsibility for this at all. $2000 TV btw. I have also requested the recorded phone calls but they keep telling me they will send out but never do, they know the recorded phone calls will prove their negligence, will be taking legal action on this.

"Service from iMove Removalists &…"
Service from iMove Removalists & Storage is a big DISGRACE!!!
All pictures/ proofs are attched below.
My blood is boiling thanks to iMove Removalists & Storage! We jetted back to Brisbane from Sydney on 18/03 to setlle a bit, thinking we'd come back to sydney and sort out our move on April 13th. But 5 days before pick up day , iMove cancels on us, whining about "technical issues." Fine, we bite the bullet and reschedule for April 10th, coughing up an extra $700 for new flights.
But guess what? On April 10th, after they confirm the pick-up at 9am. 2 hours later they hit us with the ultimate slap in the face: ALL their trucks broke down! Seriously? What a load of garbage!
I demand a refund, and what do I get? More BS! They have the nerve to suggest that because we canceled "last-minute," we might not get a full refund. And oh, the management is conveniently on holiday, so they can't process it right away. Give me a break! This is a disgrace!
This whole mess has been an absolute nightmare. We're left high and dry, thanks to their incompetence and total lack of respect for their customers' time and money.
I'm warning everyone out there: steer clear of iMove Removalists & Storage

"Move Day was a Disaster"
I had very little to move, 18 cubic meters on a Thursday. I paid for "difficult access" (my driveway). I paid for 3 flights of stairs when I only had 1 small refrigerator to move DOWN the stairs. I had nothing heavy or bulky to move. Just boxes. The mover came, took one look at my driveway and left without any words. I called after him - he was halfway down the street when he yelled back that someone would come that day. Not. iMove wanted $1500 more dollars with no promise as to when I'd be moved out of the house that I'd sold, my new job in Melbourne starting on the following Monday. Frantically, I called around and found another interstate mover (Quick and Easy Relocations) who was willing to come that day. Quick and Easy Relocations came at 6pm and moved my stuff out of the house, without complaining. I was able to drive to Melbourne the following Friday and start my job on Monday. Supposedly, iMove processed a refund. It is now 12 days later and I still have not received my refund. I have moved around the world - on 3 continents - never have I had such an awful moving experience. The office staff at iMove could not be less sympathetic. I highly recommend Quick and Easy Relocations, never iMove.
