Executive Van Lines

"I would give a zero if I could"
I would give a zero if I could. I moved April of 2022 This is a moving broker and our intitial quote was $15,450 when all was said and done our move was $37,000. There was nothing we could do because they had our stuff. From the packers to the transport to the delivery of our belongings, everyone said it would cost more. I was told by the original person I talked to that my price wouldn’t change. My stuff would not go into storage it would go straight to my new location. I asked all the right questions about it being a moving broker and was lied to all the way. I could have sold everything I owned and bought new for the price it ended up costing me. I had to buy a ton of stuff to replace what was broken anyway. To unload the truck they just hire random people off the street. I was missing items and totes. Who do you blame so many hands were on our stuff and you have no idea who took it. Beware

"Government Action: BBB reports on known government actions involving business’ marketplace conduct::
FL AG vs Executive Van Lines
The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. BBB is providing a summary of the government's allegations, which have not yet been proven.
On December 8, 2022, the Florida Attorney General's Office filed a lawsuit in the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit in and for Broward County, Florida, (Case #162628666) against Executive Van Line LLC and its owners, Charles Gordon Abrams and Logan Rice for allegedly violating the following:
(1). the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act,
(2). the Interstate Transportation Code, and
(3). the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations.
"Since at least 2019 and in violation of state and federal law, Defendants in this case have operated a number of moving brokerage companies, holding themselves out to consumers as movers when in fact they are mere brokers that do not conduct moves. Since at least April 2020, Defendants have operated as a common brokerage enterprise (the “Gold Standard Enterprise”), utilizing deceptive marketing and other unfair tactics to secure large up-front deposits from consumers with promises of, inter alia, nationwide moves, door-to-door service, professional moving services, and low costs."
Specifically, the lawsuit alleges the company of the following:
1. misrepresenting their operations to be that of a carrier and failing to identify the actual moving carrier who will be responsible for the consumers’ move prior to securing the consumer’s large up-front deposit;
2. movers who ultimately pick up consumers’ goods do not perform services that reflect the representation made in marketing materials and initial communications;
3. defendants represent that consumers’ deposits will cover 30% or more of the total moving estimates but consumers find out later, the deposit has no relationship to who will be performing the move or ultimate cost;
4. defendants hide unfair and deceptive tactics by using a myriad of companies when it operates a single call-center that has posed as numerous companies.
The Florida Attorney General seeks to halt the Defendants’ unlawful acts and practices and provide redress for the injuries to consumers that Defendants have caused.

"Scammers"
Scammers! We contracted for move from CA to NV and paid $4884 deposit. Note: this is a freight broker not a mover. Real moving companies do not charge a deposit! Tried to contact prior to scheduled move and phones inoperable (just a busy signal on all lines) and emails bounced back undeliverable. Long story short, had to contract with another company and used United. They did a GREAT job and their price was $2000 LESS than Executive. I've been contacted by other unhappy victims who are setting up a class action suit agains Executive. I will be participating in the lawsuit. I want my $4884 deposit back!

Repost of previous review
Caution: Do Not use This Company.
Executive Move Van lines is a third-party broker that will broker your move to
Dishonest-scandalous moving companies.
On March 31, 2022 we paid Executive for 58 boxes to be moved from Miami to
Houston Within 5 to 7 days.
When the movers arrived they stated although it was only 43 boxes, we were
missed quoted and had to pay an additional $475 and the move would Take a
minimum of 14 days and could take up to 21 days to arrive.
We immediately called Executive Van lines and got customer service rep Nicole on
a three-way call with the moving company,
As she argued with the moving company on Our behalf they agreed to only charge
an additional $175 for 15 less boxes which is still unacceptable and
the move would still take in access of 14 to 21 days.
The Moving company as well as Executive Van lines is in violation of the stated
written contract
When we refused to pay the additional monies the mover left
we requested a full refund of our deposit for not honoring the signed
contract.
On April 22, 2022 Executive Van lines management contacted us and stated they would refund our money but we would we would have to sign a non-disclosure agreement and delete all negative reviews of this experience
We have done our part and complied with Executive requirement to take down all reviews.
To this date. Executive have not refunded our deposit have not answered emails or returned phone calls.
On August 13, 2022 I finally got through to customer service and the agent stated that they are so backed up with complaints and refunds it could take 3 to 4 months to get the refund resolved.
At this point we feel
Executive is refusing to refund
Therefore, we are re-posting our review
Only use a reputable moving company
not a third party Broker And certainly not this un ethical company

"Worst scammers ever"
Worst scammers you could ever want to deal with. By the time I connected the dots it was too late to get back my exorbitant deposit, even though these bandits hadn't actually done anything to justify keeping my hard-earned money. I am only getting started spreading the word on these con artists. I gave them fair warning, but they elected to keep my money.

"We contracted Executive Van Lines in…"
We contracted Executive Van Lines in Nov. of 2021.
we thought all was good. We didn't read all the fine print shame on us. We did not realize this is a brokage.
This was a cross country move. They sub-contract it to a trucking co. Who picks up your stuff. They picked up our belongings on 5/27/2022. We gave the driver our new address. It wasn't till July 10th that we got a partial delivery and Aug. 6th that we got the final delivery. There were broken and missing items.
When you call Executive Van Lines to find out what's going on you are put on hold for hours than disconnected more times than I can count. If you are lucky enough to get a representative, they have no answers.

"This company offers no help or support…"
This company offers no help or support once you paid the initial deposit and show their true colors. They assign your jobs to rogue truckers who will rip you off. Never responds to emails or calls when you need help. You are left at the mercy of some random truckers. Stay away!

"Horrible experience"
My furniture was moved from Ohio to New Mexico. This is not a moving company. It is only s broker and they will turn your furniture over to anyone they can find. My furniture was kept in a warehouse in Georga for almost a month. When I finally received it much of it was smashed or missing entirely. The men who delivered it would not identify their company, and they were very threatening. I was charged almost $3000 more than my quote. Executive takes NO responsibility for what they did. And they are legally not responsible because they are brokers. And liars.
