OBS is not the cheapest supplier but, having shortlisted three firms, I decided to use them again. I had used them many years ago in a previous house and been very satisfied. Thei service is excellent and flexible, the people are very helpful and the installation process is efficient and painless. Everyone is professional and meticulous whether in advising on what is best, measuring up and actually installing. Simon and Thomas were very tidy and cleared up after each day. Steve Ryan has been very good in following up the order from paperwork to manufacture and installation. He came and inspected after installation and the company was good about fixing minor items. Last but not least the windows are very well made and fit the existing frames beautifully and look like the original ones. In short an excellent firm.

We had installed sash windows some years ago and they remain in good shape. More recently "dormer" type windows have been installed and these are very satisfactory. They offer insulation as for the sash windows and also enhanced security which is an added feature which is important. Maintaining the windows is relatively straightforward and it is expected that
they will continue to give us the satisfaction which we had sought.

The four façades of our Victorian house face midway between the cardinal points of direction, and most of our windows face the two streets which accost the house on the SE and the SW. The house is exposed on these two sides to every sort of weather, which is why it is called Sunnyside. Three years ago, wishing to improve the insulation of the kitchen and the drawing room, we had the Company replace the sashes with their beautiful hardwood triple-glazed sashes, which fortunately could be fitted into the existing boxes, which were sound. A year later we were in a position to do the same for all the other windows on those two sides. This represented a colossal investment for us, but was certainly worth it and now we have perfect insulation, no draughts, and superlative windows that fit..

We replaced 1970s uPVC windows in the front of our London terraced house in 2010. The Box Sash windows looked great from the day of installation and still look perfect today. They are attractive, secure and have improved visibility and sound-proofing. I am sure they have enhanced the value of our home. Delivery was on-time and installation was perfect. Not so expensive - just excellent value
The sash windows are of superb quality, absolutely faultless. The two fitters who came to put them in were very thoughtful in caring for the carpets. All carpets involved were covered in sheeting and the staircase also. Shoes were removed as soon as they came in the house. The finished work was perfection and the two fitters absolute craftsmen. Any dust afterwards was vacuumed up.

I cannot fault the overall service from Box Sash Window company. I was contacted immediately with an initial estimate and this was followed up with a visit where everything was discussed. The job was completed to my timetable and the window fitter did a superb job quickly and efficiently. You get what you pay for. This is a high end product from a high end company.

Our flat is in a Mansion Block built in the early 1900's and the windows and doors were in poor condition and there was considerable heat loss and a great deal of traffic noise. The difference is stunning and we now reduce the CH to a few hours per day whereas before we needed heat all day and noise is a thing of the past.
