This is the third time we have used this Company and, each time, excellent job done - pleasant fitters and windows fitted quickly, efficiently and without problems. Would recommend.

The customers services was very good from start to finish. My installation date was pushed back 1 day on the day before the installation, which was short notice, but I was able to accommodate this. The fitters were friendly, quick and clean. My windows were replaced within the time agreed and they look fantastic. Very happy with the quality of the product and the service. The only minor point is that the making good (painting) to my white pebble dash exterior wall has to be done my me. :/ Such a specialist service, taking into consideration the cost of the works/windows, should include a full making good service also. That would help to put the company above others (think Amazon). Nevertheless, I'll have to now get some paint and make good the areas myself. Other than that though, thumbs up!

I have been gradually replacing the windows in my Victorian house with lovely hardwood double glazed ones specially made up to fit the period of the house. This company pays enormous attention to making sure the details are right for the period of the house and that the customer is happy with their order. The surveyors and fitters are excellent and l can thorougly reccomend this company.

Expensive but you get what you pay for. Did everything they said they would on time, clean, good product, and the only firm that could work around us keeping the original Victorian box which was important to us.

"Replacement sash windows for condensation."

I had planned to get UPVC double glazed sash windows for the front of our Victorian Semi. Out of interest I then got a quote from OBSWC which was about 10-15% more expensive but meant I could keep the original wooden sash boxes and just replace sliding sash windows and a couple of rotten timbers from the sash box. Plus the overall look would be much more sympathetic, more environmentally friendly etc
I found OBSWC to be professional and helpful at each step. David Olive in particular helped me get the best U-value double glazing with heavier gasses for narrower 6mm cavity at no extra cost. Fitters were clean and tidy and had 7 windows done over two days.
The windows have transformed the look of the house, I had thought of getting shutter blinds but seems a shame now to hide such lovely windows behind shutters, so we won't!
As others have noted, getting wooden sash window replacements is not cheap but OSBWC will do a really good job and in my view worth the expense. Having looked around and got a variety of quotes and pleased we went with them and not the UPVC option. Recommended.

"High quality well made sash windows by a professional Company"

I was recommended to the Box Sash Window Company by a builder. They have carried out work on heritage buildings so I knew they must be very good and I was not disappointed as I live in a conservation area. The product is excellent and the Company obviously care about their work as they make the windows in their workshop. The materials used are of a high quality with a good finish. The installation was also very smooth and the installers very clean and tidy: they hoovered and took the mess away every day.
The only minus I would give them is their communication. I gave them dates when it was not convenient to instal the windows yet I still received a call in the dead of night when I was in San Francisco on the date which I said was not convenient. They also chose to write a letter when they knew I was away - giving not much notice that the windows were ready and were to be installed.

We have recently had 11 windows replaced by ‘The original box sash window’ company and we are extremely happy with the result. Right from the first contact the staff were very professional and helpful. The replacement windows are exactly the same as the original windows in all respects, except of course they are double-glazed. The fitters did a fantastic job and left no mess once they had finished. We would recommend ‘The original box sash window’ company, to anybody who is thinking of replacing old single glazed sash windows.

Really good experience from end-to-end, can't fault it. To be honest, I was probably also a perfect customer; knew what we wanted, didn't change my mind and stood by all my commitments, so all in all, very good, nothing to moan about and would thoroughly recommend - PS the main thing anyway is that the windows are stunning and the noise reduction is unbelievable.
