"For one the mobile app is not great"
For one the mobile app is not great, difficult to navigate and to make payments from non genisys accounts, also for some reason a couple times a year they decide to loose your biometric login data forcing you to recover a password you haven't used in months and of course you can't validate your account without going in your folder and having your member id handy. Why can't I just answer my security questions? Seriously just check out bank of America's app and hit copy script and change the colors and logos guys it's not that hard.

Calling the Marysville office and leaving a message to have someone call back. We have left a couple messages and no one ever calls us back. It’s very frustrating. I know it can get busy but someone should return the phone call. This is a frequent occurrence here.

Genysis is claiming that I cancelled my gap insurance policy when I NEVER did. They claim that they refunded me and then adjusted my monthly note to reflect it when my note has been the same monthly since I moved my loan from M.first to them!! They have no adjustment price on the first form but there’s one on the second but it reflects the amount I’ve ALWAYS been paying. I’ve asked them for weeks to give me proof that I signed away my gap and they said they didn’t have it.MULTIPLE agents told me that they didn’t have one for me. Other agents told me they didn’t see where I had cancelled ANYTHING, EVER!! Lo and behold this week after dealing with this since Nov 26th they came back a few days ago and said they don’t require a signature and then all of a sudden FRIDAY claim they FOUND the forms and they sent me over two forms that I’ve never seen IN MY ENTIRE LIFE for two different years claiming that I signed them when I for one FOR SURE WOULD HAVE NEVER SIGNED AWAY MY GAP and for two BOTH signatures are the exact same and I don’t have a signature! I sign my signature COMPLETELY different EVERY single time I sign ANYTHING! ALWAYS HAVE!! They are CROOKS and we will be going to court because I refuse to pay them A DIME for thier error of canceling my gap insurance and them being shady enough to create fake documents!!!! That’s SO LOW!! Just pay the remaining 3k and leave me alone because you will never get another DIME from me!! YOU ALL KNOW I NEVER E-SIGNED THAT!!

"Non existent customer service. "
This place is absolutely awful for car loans. They randomly raised my minimum payment without notifying me at all. I checked everything. I had my payment set on autopay and so I now have an overdue balance since it was raise slightly more than what I had my auto payment set at for zero reason. I’ve tried contacting them every day for two weeks now and have yet to speak to anyone nor have I receive an email back. This company is awful. How can I fix something if no one will speak with me?

Genisys responded to this review, by saying a Manager would call me. Please note I have yet to receive that call. When I finally receive that call I will come in an edit the review.
This is the worst financial institution I have ever dealt with, I'm going to pay off the the car loan tomorrow, because I just can't deal with them anymore. They feel that they have the right to tell me when and what type of insurance I need. This a loan on my winter vehicle and I'm only allowed 6 months to have it in storage. Mind you it's not like I have zero insurance on it. I have fire and theft what more do I need it is parked in my garage for the summer.
They do not take electronic transfer of funds from Vibe Credit Union, and Vibe is not the only. So, I agree to stop payment on a check, per their direction, and give them access to pull my monthly payments, they then wave the late fee and all seems good. What was I thinking!!! They receive the check that was lost in the mail due to the holidays the same day or the next day and without missing a beat because they now have access to my account they withdrawal the amount of the check, the late fees, and bounced check fees.
There has been only one time I have been able to get on there website without error.
Please save yourself the frustration and do business with some other financial institution.

"In February OR MARCH 2024 lost account"
In February 2024, I used the ATM to transfer 500. from my checking acct. at Credit Union One to my savings account. After getting a receipt,which I know longer have, I waited a month or so to check my savings acct. and place 110. dollars into the account, in April checking my acct. again, there was nothing in the acct. I have since changed my savings acct. number, contacted and notified CUOne, I do understand I cannot trace this information or prove anything, I know I did not close the account. The acct was closed. I ask you to clean up your system and employees. I am so happy I did not transfer anymore. i will not use your ATM again. Thank you, DLColeman THIS TRANSACTION HAPPENED AT THE ATM ON N. So I have called multiple times to have a issue resolved and no one calls back. You have leave a message, however no one calls back. Left 2 messages for managers and they don't even call back. Members do not matter to this credit union.

Customer experience is BAD. Look forward to the day that you have to merge or are acquired. You hire the worst of the worst. Can you please provide your employees with an understanding that the Customer comes first. From the face to face to the ATM experience & let's not forget about your IT department. YOU ARE THE WORST OF THE WORST & NEED TO GO AWAY! You are simply incompetent.

You have to reserve 2 hours of your time, just to speak with a bank representative over the phone. Their hours of operations are not convenient at all. I thought the call waiting thing was just a little faze after this whole covid thing but nah, it's still a thing. And customer service hahaha _______
