"Excellent service all round."
Sales staff were extremely helpful giving us good advice about our proposed purchase.we were able to go to the granite supplier and choose the piece we wanted. After that it was a very smooth process with good communication all the way. Fitters arrived on time and completed the job very quickly and cleanly. Extremely happy with the end result.

"This is our third kitchen with Purple"
This is our third kitchen that Purple have installed new worktops. I have worked with them for many years and would like to thank Lucy and her great team for yet another smooth installation.

"Great job done"
Great job done! The new worktops are fantastic and really make a difference to the kitchen and the fitting was brilliant. The men were really friendly and professional. Customer service was excellent as well.
Would definitely recommend.

"Unapologetic when things go wrong"
Unapologetic when things go wrong. Don't want to know after they've installed it. Full of excuses instead of accepting responsibility.
Initially they seemed good but I wouldn't recommend them.

"DO NOT USE"
We had our worktops and splashbacks supplied through kitchensfordiy so didn’t choose Purple.
At first when the installation manager came to template the job we were more than impressed with his expertise and excellent manner.
The worktops and splashbacks came a week later and were fitted by what seemed a very knowledgable team. I was asked to sign that there were no scratches and I was happy with the fit.
It was only when my husband got home, that he noticed first off, that the hole for the tap was not central ?! Next was checking the sockets, which you could see seemed too big a cut out and showed about a 5mm larger cut out than needed. On putting the laser level on the sockets, they were not all on the exact level. From left to right overall there was about 7mm difference in levels. These did not fit the template! The major issue with the cutouts being too big is that screwing back the front plate puts pressure on the socket due to inadequate support. Also you can see the cutout behind the plate, which is unsightly and very unproffessional after paying thousands of pounds to get the experts in.
Initially, we had a very fast response from the installation manager and he came out the following week and agreed the hole was out of central, which he was able to deal with instantly, and that the sockets was an issue to be decided on best route for satisfaction. The installation manager suggested possible solitions maybe replacement or monetary compensation, which would have to come from the director and we would be contacted within a few days, which has not occurred. Up to date we have had no response from Purple and only 1 email from the kitchen company saying they couldn’t see a problem ?! We have since emailed them again asking them to refit the splashbacks and had no response. We are looking into taking them to the small claims court as we are very disappointed in the lack of customer care since fitting.

"Average"
Average
“It’s not rocket science” said the sales director Lucy Brewer who runs PurpleGranite, while demonstrating her zero interest and poor knowledge of PurpleGranite’s product processes and expressing scorn that I might want the detail on my new worktop to look good.
Had I written this review at the time of installation it would have been much more negative but we’ve had our quartz worktop for over a year now and the sour experience of dealing with Purple Granite is fading so I will upgrade my review rating to ‘average’ which is as fair as I can be.
But the journey was difficult and unpleasant and resolving our issue with hard nosed businesswoman Lucy Brewer whose customer facing skills need a revision course was not nice.
The core issue was that the upstands had been chamfered on the wrong edge and also the base of the upstands had been cut wrongly so they tilted forwards resulting in unsightly gaps at the corner join and either between the worktop and the upstand or the worktop and the wall. Unfortunately I did not notice this until I came to install the upstands the next day and that’s what Lucy took exception to. I was told I had ‘signed off’ the delivery – so much for the 10 year guarantee, and resolution of problems would involve heavy costs and a month’s delay because I am 90 minutes by road from the Purple Granite workshop – so much for their claim to cover the whole of the UK.
My problem was resolved by my suggesting I bring in the upstands to the Worcester workshop. In the unit I met two helpful people John and James who immediately recognised my problem and re-worked the upstands in about twenty minutes or so.
