Last month I renegotiated my broadband contract, the service was updated all was running smoothly. The monthly invoice though was incorrect, this was quickly amended by my account manager, Melissa. A telephone line that was not required was spotted on the bill, We removed it, I signed it off.
The following day at 8am the extra telephone line was removed, consequently there was no broadband service. CRISIS. 9am I was on the phone with Melissa. A number of solutions were discussed and tried. By close of business BT Openreach had confirmed they would be attending the property in the morning to connect the correct line.
BT's work was completed by 10:30am. Another call back to Melissa. The technician I had spoken to the previous day talked me through the various wifi settings. Success - everything back up and running.
I highly recommend SCG, they have taken over 2Circles Communications who have been for twenty years the suppliers of the business's telecoms and for the past two and a half years my personal internet service. Melissa my account manager was pleasant throughout, easy to get hold of on the phone and as the problems surfaced Melissa made sure they were speedily resolved. At all times I was confident that everything was going quickly in the right direction.

"If I could give zero stars....."
I live in a retirement village where SCG supply our phone and internet for an admittedly good price, but as it often stops working it's a waste of time. We are still working and NEED our internet. We had almost no wifi for a fortnight just a couple of weeks ago, now it's off again. This has happened countless times now and we are sick to death of it. Not once have they given a reduction on our bill despite the appalling service.

Ben Pennifold was fantastic. He was very helpful and got us sorted straight away.
I would say that this wouldn't have been an issue for us had SCG had some sort of onboarding call. We had our bb set up by open reach and the phone lines clicked in. We were emailed our usernames etc and then we were kind of abandoned until we called asking for helo to set the phones up.
30 mins to set us up how we wanted would have been a useful option for us.
