"Superb service "

We used Miss Maid for an end of tenancy clean and the service was superb. Communication was great throughout the process and the flat was left in an immaculate state. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend.

Outstanding service from Miss Maid! They have done a post tenancy service for us last week, the checkout agent was impressed and we’ve got our deposit back. He even said that they use Miss Maid occasionally and are happy with their service quality.

UPDATE 30th August 2024 - Miss Maid, in response to your denial of knowing anything about this complaint, I refer you to my most recent email to you, which remains unanswered - I have asked your team member Rachel to offer a final response to my request for a refund. The advise recieved from my third party in pursuit of correct compensation for your atrocious service was to ask for a final response and go from there. I am yet to hear from you. I am happy to post this email trail on this website if that would be helpful in jogging your memory. Disgraceful service.

IN RESPONSE TO YOUR CLAIMS BELOW
- You precharge the payment card prior to the service in order to take the fee without requesting permission after the service. A reputable company would not require this.
- You offered me a 20 GBP refund for my unacceptable service that cost me over 200 GPB. I have the emails to confirm this. A reputable company would not be dishonest about this.
MOREOVER I do not trust your company to provide a cleaner who will not intimidate me, demean me or abuse my property. Neither you nor your cleaners will be welcomed back to my property. This is not an acceptable suggestion.

I await my FULL REFUND.

ORIGINAL TRUSTPILOT REVIEW

1. The cleaner was incredibly rude throughout the appointment.

2. There are multiple unclean regions in the property. Please note on pointing one of these regions out on the countertop, the cleaner licked her finger and wiped it with her saliva. This is quite disgusting and frankly unhygienic. This was in front of me. I dread to think what was done in my absence.

3. The clean took 3.5 hours. It is 2 rooms and shower room. I can't understand why it took so long.

4. The property stank of dirty mop liquid.

5. The cleaner broke my shelving unit which was jammed open. This will require fixing.

6. I have truly never met a more rude service person. I am horrified.

DO NOT USE. Be wary of any service provider who demands payment upfront. 200 pounds to not clean a one bed. I have not received a refund. Their company policy is to offer a part refund of 20 pounds if unsatisfied. Disgraceful company should be ashamed of themselves.

"Not much improvement on carpets or even…"

Not much improvement on carpets and looked worse than before cleaning. Stains have been half removed and still visible. Not much improvement on grey edges. The machines left banding on the carpets that was not there before cleaning, made carpet look worse. Was very disappointed with the result and reviewed the case with customer service and they offered a refund. They also suggested that it was not possible to remove the stains due to incorrect treatment with domestic products previously or stains been there for too long.

"Brilliant cleaning results after having a pet"

Absolutely great job !
The reason why we had a steam technician was that we had a pet /cat/ for a short period of time .
Our steam technician , Stanimir, was absolutely brilliant. He was kind , on time , with positive attitude and behaved professionally. We are so thankful to him.
There is no bad smell or a stain on the staircase at all !!!

"Carpets left amazingly clean"

Carpets left amazingly clean again. Operative managed to get out numerous drink and food stains on a light coloured carpet. He was polite, punctual and very professional explaining exactly why one of our armchairs couldn’t be cleaned this time and telling us the type of cleaning required.

"I had the worst experience with Miss…"

I had the worst experience with Miss maid end of tenancy cleaning service.
1. They initially gave a quote (400£) but that didn't include the VAT charges to look as if they are cheaper than other companies.
2. They called me up on the day of the cleaning and said they had to increase the amount mentioned in the initial quote by 100£ + VAT or else they are gonna cancel the service. Since our house handover was on the next day we had to agree since it would have been impossible to get someone clean it the same day.
3. The cleaning was not done properly. The kitchen appliances were not touched , the washing machine was not cleaned, the floor was not mopped and was sticky, the cob webs were not cleaned, the skirtings were not touched, there were food stains in the kitchen. I have attached some of the pictures here as well to show the kind to disappointed service they did. These are some of the stuffs that you expect from end of cleaning services.
4. We had a 48 hours warranty to on the service. We we reached out regarding a reclean, they asked a bunch of proofs and asked for the landlord's phone number. We provided everything they asked for but then they ghosted us. They stopped replying to our emails and calls.

As a result we were charged again by our landlord for the cleaning. It's the worst experience I ever had with any cleaning service. I would NOT recommend them to anyone unless you want to get duped.
