"Beware - the price you see is not the price you pay"

I bought some Continental tyres from Lordgun and thought they were a great price. 2 1/2 weeks later I received a letter from Parcelforce demanding £70.76 in customs fees. I had to pay VAT, even though I'd already paid it.

There is a complete lack of transparency in the pricing on the website. Custom fees are only mentioned in the small print.

They reimbursed the VAT but I was still out of pocket. If you live outside the EU, do not use this website. The prices are dishonest and I'm sure this kind of thing would be illegal in the UK.

--I bought 2 Cannondale topstone 3 from Lordgun each 1000 Euro

2 Order placed 19/11/2024, standard DPD shipment 3 to 6 days. Tracking the shipment, 1st status is still in DPD Deutschland GMBH 2nd is being returned when it gets to Denmark because it has exceeded terms and conditions, but it has been going into a loop between DPD Deutschland and Denmark for 10 days now, going back and fort. Online customer service is unhelpful, and Email customer service is super slow. I feel like this is a severe problem, and they don't spend the best effort to fix it.

--The problem was between them and the shipping company, so holding a customer's money pending even though the customer did not make any mistakes is unfair.

Received a broken bike over 3 weeks ago. Have send emails. Have send photo's. They only reply after a reminder. Need to repair the bike on own charges because they told me that the forwarder needs to reply first to the claim. You can't keep a customer waiting for over 3 weeks when he purchased a new expensive bike.
