I am very disappointed and upset with the admin from Catholic Doors, I asked a simple question and was insulted to the point of tears, all I wanted was an honest answer politely not rudely

As of this week I am unable to use it due to Verizon pop ups advertising new phone opportunities via an online survey.
I am unable to contact administrators about this.

Wanted to order from a place that wasn't Amazon and was happy to be able to get my order quite quickly; however, the Bible I ordered is a gift for someone, and the one I received was unwrapped and looked a little shelf-worn. The price tag was also stuck to the cover, so there's a sticky spot there now that I can't remove. It would have been nice to know that the item had been part of a store display. I would have liked to have received an email telling me that this item's condition was not-quite-new.

Unfortunately the item I ordered was on back order. I received an email from The Catholic Door that the item was no longer available. I was offered a replacement. First time ordering from this company, but I will again.

The package arrived on time and very securely wrapped. The contents were exactly as advertised and I am very happy with my purchase.

I have two comments to make. I ordered a large print Catholic Book of Prayers. I am a bit disappointed at the lack of eloquence in general. I'm accustomed to daily reading from the Book of Common Prayer (Episcopal). To me prayers are prayers. I almost felt that these were a somewhat "dumb down version," and the black and white drawings made it even worse. I am returning to the Catholic faith after many, many years, and needed a refresher in the basic prayers I learned so long ago.

Secondly, when I sent through the order, it promised a 5-7 day delivery. I received my book on the 8th day (we did have a no-mail day in the midst of that delivery time frame). While I appreciated the free delivery, please remember that you are competing in some ways with Amazon.com!! Sending my prayer book via "media mail" takes a long time. I ordered from you because I try to give the little guy the chance to stay in business.

Quite honestly, I would return this prayer book if I didn't have to pay for return shipping, but it's not worth it having to spend the better part of $7 to return a $17.95 book.

All that said, the gold gilding on the exterior edges and the "bonded leather" covering in burgundy are nice.
