"Took my money and gave me nothing"
Signed up for their contact lens scheme and, after paying £184.50 over 3 months no lenses arrived. Called them to query what was going on and was told they'd order a trial pair as a temporary measure, issue me a refund and cancel my direct debit - that was 2 weeks ago and I've heard nothing from them and still have no lenses. Shocking customer service from a store that I expected a lot more from. Avoid them and, above all, don't sign up for their monthly contact lens service!

The whole experience was seamless & timely. Thorough walk through examinations by Rhod & no pushy after sales. Mo the optometrist was absolutely fantastic, giving advice & assurance. Highly recommend & also sent the wife over for a full eye MOT as well. Cheers

"Lovely optician let down by incompetent…"
Lovely optician let down by incompetent staff at the Pudsey branch.
Over 3 weeks and still no contact lenses. Promised by 2 different staff members for a call back to let me know when they were arriving.
Neither of them rang me back as promised, and that's after telling Hannah that the last staff member never contacted me. She said she definitely would.
A shame really as David is the best optician I've ever come across.

"How sad That Our Great food and…"
How sad That Our Great food and clothing store has managed to work with this awful opticians.
Apparently was Owl now a company Scriven.
They (optician staff always look awfully quiet at the Willow Torquay and having recently bought 4 Maui Jim sunglasses in a few days I am in shock with the utter non customer service I have been showed .
I asked for a refund on one of the sunglass’s as I just wasn’t happy with it .
In their blurb re customer service it say one can return if not happy .
I tried to and after leaving me sat for 10 minutes whilst taking the glasses away to give me a good answer I hoped .
The assistant came back and said the glasses were scratched and the tips of the arms were damaged so they said they couldn’t resell .
As far as I could tell they were perfect when I passed them over to the assistant cosmetically .
Keeping in mind I only wore them for less than one hour and was careful in handling .
When I first asked to look at them they didn’t trust me to even look at them and insisted I put them on without a proper look .
I protested that they were rushing me and told them the glasses had greasy smudges on them and they should insure they are presentable for customers to wear ..
To be fair it didn’t look they had much else to do .
I’ve actually contacted Muai Jims head office and they said they couldn’t understand why I wouldn’t get a refund ..
It’s a battle and one I will win but shouldn’t have to go thru all this nonsense with M&S .

I visited M&S London Colney for my yearly eye test.
The eye test was conducted by the Optometrist Mrs Meera Patel. It was a very detailed examination and it was carried out in a most professional manner and every aspect of the examination was explained in detail. I was also given sound and most helpful advice about my future eye care.
My wife and I always look forward to visiting the opticians at London Colney where there is always a very friendly and cheerful welcome from Alison and all her team.

"Contact Lens Plan - Disappointing"
I am going on holiday in the next week and my monthly contact lenses will need changing at the end of the month, whilst I am away. I contacted M&S opticians in Pudsey and their customer care team and asked when my next delivery was to be issued and was told that it would not be for another 3 weeks. I asked if they could arrange for a delivery in the next 5 days but was told that the fastest they could manage would be 10 days which seems extremely poor. Whilst the Pudsey branch have always provided excellent customer service their procurement process for contact lenses seems poor and inflexible and doesn’t meet customer expectations.

We were dealt with by Zoe she goes above and beyond in her customer service and professional knowledge.Nothing was to much trouble for her she helped us choose 2 pairs of spectacles and at no point was there any pressure to make a purchases.Due to the service received we did make the purchases.
From the actual pre eye test to the meeting with the optician the whole experience was the best we have received.
