"Payroll with Mazuma"

We are recently new to Mazuma.
Alison Edwards looks after our payroll for us and has always been very prompt and efficient with our requirements.
Every month without fail Alison sends us our payroll reports giving us one less thing to think about.
If you do have any problems Alison is only too happy to sort them out for you.

I’ve been with Mazuma since 2020 and it’s been a poor service from start to finish. It contributed to one of the main reasons of stress that led to me closing down my business. They don’t seem to have any accountability, don’t call when they say they will, don’t seem to understand any legislation so experience is lacking and just generally cause more stress than it’s worth by using them. I noticed they seem to defend themselves in their responses to reviews with passive aggressive comments. Poor form.

Used to spend ages trying to do my own tax and then I did something wrong and HMRC wanted thousands off me! I just let mazuma do it now and they even got HMRC to back down.

They don't take ownership, don't correctly advise, take no accountability for their actions, never stick to their word, impossible to speak to anyone who actually knows what they're doing as you get passed to support line staff to avoid waiting more than 5 days for a response. I have to remind them of deadlines. No one there is interest in building any kind of rapport and certainly don't care for your business. Sold us the world during onboarding process, but here we are still waiting for year end accounts 10 months later. The worst decision. Maybe if we joined years ago we'd have had a different experience but they certainly can't manage their workload. Only good thing is the payroll department and Maz App. Do not go with them at this stage in their growth.

"Love the app"

Really like the invoicing in the app where I can actually collect payment from customers too. So easy to use and the team just pick the details up for my taxes without me having to do anything. Great!
