"Avoid if you need a reliable service"
I signed up with Mazuma in November 2023 and was never informed that they would automatically apply for a filing extension to April 2025. If I had known, I would have gone elsewhere.
I first emailed on 29th January asking for an update—no response. Later, I was told that someone had spoken to me about my self-assessment, but I have never requested or engaged their services for self assessment. It appears someone on their end has falsified records as I received no call from Mazuma. When I questioned this, I was told the person who gave me this information was new and incorrect—yet no one explained why I had no reply for two weeks? And why are their staff not being properly trained? Either someone is lying or incompetent.
I am in the middle of a house purchase and urgently needed my company accounts on 31st January for the mortgage application, but I have been passed around with no ownership or follow-up. Despite repeated calls and emails, there is zero accountability—just excuses and deflection.
Customer service has been appalling. They make in my opinion passive-aggressive responses to reviews, blaming customers rather than taking responsibility. I was promised a call today—no call came. I have called three times today with no answer.
Yes, they offered me a two-month discount, but that doesn’t solve the issue. I need my company accounts, and after a month of now chasing empty promises, I am still getting nowhere. Avoid if you need reliable service. Looks like my house purchase will be falling through, all because of Mazuma's misinformation and lack of follow up. Great sales pitch - terrible service.
