I gave them two Loewe brand new bags in original postal packaging to try and sell for me. I got them back used and not in their original packing. They also offered me £300 for bags that were worth over £7500
Absolute con artists and when I challenged them and asked for my money for the bags they had used and were now worthless, they basically told me to get lost.

I sent a total of 7 items - not the most expensive items I want to sell, but as a test. I am so glad I did not send more.
I honestly believe that this company works by being deliberately incompetent such that it is impossible to get the money you are owed. If that is the case then it is fraudulent. I am gathering my evidence to take to the authorities to see if there is a case can be made.
Their 'system' requires to send your items with your bank details written on a piece of paper. Then they typed it into their system incorrectly and tried to send my payments to another account. (an error???)
This 'error' of course meant that my payment was delayed (another error???)
They then failed to advertise one of my items for months citing completely different and false reasons each time I asked. The longer they have an item the more then can discount. (another error???)
To get anything rectified requires you to chase constantly without any prompt reply.
They have no system which allows you to see the status of your account and items and so you are just relying on their word. (deliberate???)
They then failed to list my items for two months on their website - they just disappeared. The longer they have them the more they can discount, (deliberate???). They then had the audacity to try and point out the items were on the website when clearly they had just reactivated them.
I can honestly say that I have never dealt with such an unprofessional organisation, with no visibility of what is being done with your items for sale, with no electronic system in place to see your account and check on the status of your possessions.
I cannot believe that this would be how a legitimate business would operate and therefore suspect that this is not the intent.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Buyers - please consider that you may be supporting the continuation of sellers being exploited, as per my experience.

I’ve bought many items from SOTT over the last year or two and they are always great quality and condition. Online orders arrive quickly and well packaged and the store itself is beautiful! They’re on the higher end price-wise for luxury resale but considering how well curated the pieces are, I think it’s absolutely reasonable!

First time customer, so very impressed with the service and product. I had been searching for a gold day bag for many months, nothing quite making me want to purchase. I came across the site and couldn't believe not only did they have what I wanted in terms of colour and size, it was so much more in its quality and details.

"Disappointing experience and couldn’t authenticate - would avoid if possible"
I was really delighted with the item I got from sign of the times which is why this isn’t a one star review. However the experience was pretty disappointing. I’d requested an in store pickup and despite communicating with customer services around the day I’d be in to collect - when I arrived at the store the item wasn’t there. What made this even more frustrating however was the total lack of communication, nobody reached out to me to say when the item would be available and instead it took me constantly checking in and contacting directly to find an answer. Additionally I’d requested to view another item at the same time as my original bag to make a decision between them - however 5-6 hours later I was still waiting for confirmation both on the original item but also on the delivery of the second. I expressed some concern that the second item would go out of stock but was reassured by their lack of urgency - fast forward to the end of the day and the item became unavailable so I was never able to make the choice between bags. Eventually it took over 48 hours from me attending the store to being able to locate the original item and finally picked it up 4 days after I had planned. Not only was this obviously an inconvenience but I found the customer services very slow and generally pretty unhelpful - offering me a pretty meagre discount for my next purchase as compensation. I would also highlight that despite stating on the website that they authenticate and can provide a Entrupy certificate - this is actually incorrect as when I requested evidence of the authentication I was told that they weren’t able to give it to me due to the value of the bag (£600). Not only is this obviously contrary to their website but also pretty concerning. I kept the bag because it was a unique item but I would be very reticent to use their services again.

I bought a saint laurent sac de jour in lovely condition, it actually had all its care cards too which wasn’t listed on the website. But the customer service was lacking, I messaged in advance as I had seen the store was closed for a few days on Instagram, I wanted to check when the online orders would be posted out (I had work commitments so wouldn’t be in later in the week). I was told a few times yes it would be shipped tomorrow and also the item might be gone soon (so buy quick type sale approach) I paid extra for the next day delivery. Only to be told once I’d paid (within minutes of them telling me yes it’ll be fine) that oh no it won’t be posted tomorrow they were closed! They did offer to hold off posting till later on in the week and refund the extra postage id paid. But it was disappointing that they couldn’t have figured that out when I purposely asked, almost like they just wanted the money in the till. The box the bag arrived in wasn’t taped/sealed up? just open the flap and your in, luckily my neighbour and the delivery driver didn’t go pinching. I would only buy from the company again if they had an item I couldn’t get anywhere else. Other preloved companies I have used are a lot more helpful and personal.
