"Possibly the slowest software I have…"

Possibly the slowest software I have ever used. On top of that, there are so many bugs I run into, where I can't copy from a cell, or it crashes so I loose data that has not been saved.

The worst example of flexibility I have ever seen. A product that can do a lot, but does it all badly. And then at that price. It makes no sense.

My company switched to Monday.com, truly awful. Just use a spreadsheet. Maybe quit with the extremely annoying ads as well.

"Don't waste your time"

Don't waste your time if you're just looking for a simple organisational tool. The free trial includes everything but they don't tell you that the free version includes next to nothing. It limits you to 200 "items" which is their terminology for rows in an excel/google sheets doc. 200 ITEMS!? What good is that? I spent a lot of time setting it up and was happy with it until it became clear how they operate and what the limits were. It would be useful and I would have considered paying for it as a personal user if the prices were not so high and if they were just honest about how they operate upfront. What a disappointment. It takes so much to figure out how to make it work and then it hits you.

"Time wasters "

Time wasters - we’re a not-for-profit organisation and so applied to them as their website indicates there’s no charge if we meet their criteria. Having been rejected, then appealing, then having further emails - they don’t mean not-for-profits - they mean registered charities. We wasted so much time inputting stuff and getting set up on a basis that was incorrect - very unhelpful - won’t bother with them again in any guise.

"Boards wouldn't load"

I used monday.com's online assistant to resolve my problem, that my board pages wouldn't load. I tried all of their written solutions as well as the solutions the assistant suggested, (just a repeat of the written suggestions), none of which worked. I was then told to log in to my account if I wanted human support - but, of course, the problem is that monday.com won't open, so I can't log in to my account. When my boards are critical to keeping track of my projects, this failure makes completing my job effectively very difficult. Very disappointed.

"Peu ergonomique"

Peu ergonomique, la visu est confuse, le système de menus déroulants est imbuvable. Pour l'instant je n'y trouve aucun intérêt. imposé par la direction pour mesurer l'avancée des projets en cours mais pour moi un gadget de plus qui vient polluer encore la boite mail et ajouter des canaux de communication aux nombreux déjà existants.

"More issues than you'll be able to count. Support emails but never does anything. "

We've had numerous major issues over the last few weeks that their support has acknowledged, but still not fixed. As of a few days ago their platform started deleting data at random, won't show up in the archive or deleted pages, just gone. This platform is HORRIBLY unstable. If you're not deeply committed yet run the other way.

Edit: Three months into these platform bugs and no ETA from Monday on when their dev team will address it. They asked for my schedule to set up a meeting with their dev team 2 or 3 weeks back, told them I was wide open, they still haven't scheduled that meeting yet either. The claims on their website for support are absolutely fake. I've never seen a support department this woefully inadequate.

"Unauthorized Charge and Poor Customer Support"

Dear monday.com Support Team,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an unauthorized charge of R$6,300 made to the credit card saved on my account. This charge was applied without my consent or authorization, as my company has not used your services since July 2024.

At the time of our subscription, the plan was monthly and billed according to active users. However, we were unexpectedly charged this significant amount despite no longer using the platform. This practice is unacceptable, especially since we did not authorize the use of the saved credit card for this subscription after discontinuing the service.

Furthermore, my experience with monday.com has been extremely unsatisfactory due to the lack of customer support for Brazilian clients. There has been no response through national complaint channels or customer service, which reflects poorly on your company’s commitment to supporting local markets.

As a global company, I find it concerning that monday.com is expanding into new markets without demonstrating transparency, honest practices, or a willingness to listen to local customers. This experience has left me feeling wronged and victimized by what I consider to be abusive practices.

Due to these issues, I no longer trust monday.com and have taken steps to protect my company’s data. After recovering access through an email associated with a former employee, I removed all users and blocked the account to prevent further unilateral and dishonest use of our information.

I demand an immediate refund of the unauthorized charge and a detailed explanation of how this situation occurred. Additionally, I urge monday.com to improve its customer support and business practices to ensure transparency and fairness for all clients, regardless of their location.

I will not consider using monday.com again in the future, as this experience has severely damaged my trust in your company. I expect a prompt resolution to this matter.
