My energy bill has been reduced by £556/annum by referring to your website. However it was a computer literate friend who was able to achieve this and only because British Gas directed him to the site. This is a disgrace where membersof the public who are not on the internet are being ripped off.

"Avoid. When things go wrong they abandon their customers."

Stupidly I’ve used this company three times to attempt utility switches and all three have gone wrong incurring additional expense and time wasted.
The first time on a dual fuel switch, the gas was switched. The electricity wasn’t leaving me stranded between two companies.
The second time I ended up on a different tariff to the one advertised/completed costing me £90 (fortunately refunded by Shell via Resolver).
The third time in September 2019 on a Scottish Power single fuel switch (I’m still stranded) after 3 weeks they informed me that they had erroneously programmed a dual fuel as a single and therefore had to cancel.
They apologise (occasionally) but never compensate. Think carefully before you use them.

Post script: Thanks Energylinx for your standard, generic and insincere reply. It's almost impressive that you are capable of retrieving records from 2017 (that don't tell the whole story) and yet unable to correctly programme utility deals, which ought to be your core competency. You didn't learn in 2017 and you haven't now so I don't believe your shallow promise to learn lessons. The service is as incompetent and underwhelming now as it was then.
If you were an ethical and dare I say it, high performing company, you would be backing up your words with actions. Rather than asking me to phone your call centre to find a new deal following your failure 3 weeks ago to execute the deal you improperly advertised, you would be finding a comparable, actionable deal, getting me onto it and compensating me for the difference in price. It's about time OFGEM regulated you and I will be suggesting to them that they do.
