"Costa Rica in 2021"

In May five of us traveled privately with Yampu to Costa Rica for just under a week. Yampu did a fine job of arranging transportation, guides, hotels and tours. Originally the adventure was scheduled for 2020 and then rescheduled for 2121 because of the pandemic. Yampu was generous with travel refunds for the cancelled trip and inventive in rescheduling all this year and making changes because of the pandemic. The highlight of the excursion was seeing a male quetzal near Monteverde, an experience I had waited 61 years for. I would certainly recommend Yampu and travel with them again.

We (husband, wife and two children) have been using Yampu Tours for our family vacations since 2015. Brazil, Chile, Peru, Argentina, South Africa, and Egypt are just a few countries Yampu took us to.

As you probably have guessed, we have been extremely satisfied with our experience. The itinerary is always carefully designed and perfectly customized to our family interests / needs. The local guides picked by Yampu are the best. We have encountered more than two dozens of them so far and never had a bad experience. They are all very knowledgeable and reliable and quickly became our friends.

Yampu has made travel fun and stress-free. From the moment you arrive at the destination airport to the moment you check in your returning flight, you are 100% taken care of. We have learned to trust Yampu completely, so much so that during the trip, we often woke up in the morning at a foreign hotel, having no idea what will happen during that day, trusting Yampu will take us to amazing place and teach us everything about it.

So far, we have not been disappointed.

Yampu Tours helped me plan my trip to the Galapagos in December 2020 (yes, during COVID 19). Stephanie Rudolph was my first contact and she not only knew what to ask about, but she also helped me to decide that I wanted to be on a boat, rather than on land with day trips. She was exactly right. She and Jose Irauzqui did a great job with all of my arrangements, such as hotels in Quito, itinerary changes because of flight changes, and guides. I am extremely thankful that when I was having multiple problems trying to establish a travel insurance claim and refund for the money I lost during Covid19.cancellation.the owner of the company stepped in to help me.

Jose Irauzqui jumped in to represent me and he was tenacious and he quickly earned the nickname of Bulldog. He was able to get me the refund for myself and a traveling partner.
I have traveled with Yampu before to Bhutan and India and was guided by Stephanie Rudolph. I used to joke with my friends that if I could only run my business as well as this company did, I would be a millionaire many times over. Jose and his team at Yampu performed miracles and managed to book my daughter on one of last flights out of Peru before the country closed their borders last month. I still don't know know where or how he was able to find a seat for her but I will remain forever grateful that my teenage daughter did not have to quarantine alone in a foreign country during the shutdown. I could not offer a better recommendation if you are looking to plan travel overseas. Professional, responsive, efficient and oh so compassionate. :)

"One Month Perfect Trip to India and the Maldives"

My wife and I recently traveled to India and the Maldives. This was our second trip with Yampu Tours, and it was a very complicated itinerary with visits to 5 cities within India over the course of 3.5 weeks, and ending with a 5 night stay at a resort in the Maldives. We relied on Yampu for all of the tours, the transfers, flights, drivers, etc., and most of the hotels. I love the flexibility of working with Yampu, as there was no problem with our booking an AirBnb in Delhi ourselves, and multiple changes in the itinerary due to outside-of-our-control issues (canceled flights, construction next to the hotel, etc.). Everything went exceptionally well, which is to my mind, simply amazing. I really cannot imagine arranging such a trip without Yampu’s expertise. Our Yampu agent is Stephanie Rudolph, and she rocks!!!
