"User of Unsolicited Email Campaigns"

Update: AddPeople claim they use an external leading marketing agency to send email campaigns and have attempted to distance themselves from the unsolicited email sent, they claim it was this external agency that sent the unsolicited email to me and so refused my data access request on the basis they do not hold my data. I have supplied Trust Pilot with the response from this external agency and they state they did not send the email. They do not hold my data. They cannot see how they would ever have my data as I’m not a Ltd. company. A Formal Complaint has now been raised against AddPeople. **This review contains substantiated evidence provided to Trust Pilot to prove it is not defamatory but an accurate review of the practices of this company which businesses should be aware of when making an informed decision whether to use the services or not.

Update: I have emailed the company THREE times now and STILL they have not responded which provides even further corroborating evidence they are not acting in accordance with GDPR regulations, I have submitted evidence of this to Trust Pilot. This company has sent an email that may breach regulations and I am pleased the company are now carrying out a thorough internal and external investigation. The company has sent me a response below, I am on no list whatsoever, I never asked to join their mailing list, and this is clearly how they market other companies which is why the information that has been sent to me of no use whatsoever. I will be making a complaint to the information commissioners office but this is now on hold pending the investigation outcome. I would like to understand from this company exactly what list am I on and how they’ve obtained this list and my email address which is an alleged breach of GDPR. This company has just emailed me with absolutely irrelevant information which does nothing but anger and alienate genuine businesses by marketing companies that just send out generic emails hoping somebody might click through. If you’re considering using this agency, please bear in mind the policy which they use above which would not be effective use of any advertising spend or marketing budget if you are looking for targeted campaigns. This company targets business leads themselves in this manner. It is a highly controversial method, hence my review. As a former Marketing Director of a below the line advertising top 10 marketing agency we would never use such tactics. Sending out what are effectively spam emails to email addresses that have no use of such services is a complete waste of ad spend.

If someone is completely dumb in advertising business and cannot use simple, free tools offered by Google, Facebook etc... so pay that excessive money for nothing. They are just good, well trained, sales reps, they can sell you, your urine as medicine and you will be happy to use it as instructed for months... but they will not help you to sell your product, neither piece of code for election campaign.
