Qui gon Jin saber was from 89 sabers and was horrid, proffie was bunk and the hilt was not all machine metal. It was aluminum and pasitc. Even better he deleted the whole saber from the website. Blade was just in box shipping box outside of hilt box. $500 not worth it

Recently purchased a saber. The hilt itself has a great design if it weren't for the wobbling bits that are hot-glued on, flickering neopixel blade that gets extraordinarily dim when you tilt the blade a certain way or push on it at all, and the threading in the singular set screw hole that wore out after two weeks. Can't use the saber anymore. Great $700 display piece though.

I ordered the Fallen Master, fully installed. This thing is a BEAST. Big and hefty, with excellent balance. The materials and build quality are fantastic, and the array of quality Soundfonts and styles provided by Korbanth are in my experience, unmatched. Even the blade plug is custom to this saber. It looks amazing on a stand, and feels natural in hand. I'm on the taller side like Brother Ray was, and it looks spot-on screen accurate. I'm considering an eventual 501st Baylan Skoll build - and this saber definitely fits the bill.

I had a minor issue, which was cleared up very quickly via email. Korbanth customer service is crazy good. It's a huge part of why I bought there originally, and I'll keep coming back. This is my second installed saber from Korbanth, and it won't be my last. I'm already eyeing another.

If like me, you're into designing your own styles and soundfonts, the Fallen Master Proffie is super accessible. The chassis is removable and really easy to align for reinsertion. Keep in mind this isn't something you should be doing unless you are very comfortable with programming and maintaining electronics.

Not all saber are made equal.
Some are incredible and well worth the money like the weathered obi-wan episode 4 and the katarn 1--looks like were taken right from the set! Others, like the jaina solo and katarn 2 sabers, are about 20% bigger than their counterparts. The quality and size issue seems to be a recent problem as I have purchased 16 sabers from them and until recently have had few if any problems. I used to be able to buy with confidence but now I really have to scrutinize the images they post to determine the quality and if the sabers are oversized.
Also the weathering application is inconsistent as well. Sometimes, like my katarn 1, it looks world weary and used, other times, like my jaina solo and luke episode 6, it is barely noticeable and certainly not worth the $50 up charge. Unfortunately I no longer get my sabers weathered because I don't know what to expect.
In summary, I will cautiously continue to purchase Korbanth Sabers, for now.
