"Having taken a policy out on-line I…"

Having taken a policy out on-line I realised afterwards I had forgotten to mention a medical issue. Initially unsure whether to cancel or try amend I decided to contact Coverwise direct by phone. I spoke to a lovely person who was training (Billie I think her name was) who very quickly sorted the issue, original policy was cancelled and new one issued, very helpful and very friendly.

"Unfair Claim Denial Despite Sudden Illness Before Departure"

I am extremely disappointed with the way my claim was handled. The insurance company refused to compensate me, stating that my illness was a pre-existing condition. However, I did not have any such condition when I purchased the travel insurance and airline ticket. I only became ill right before my departure and had to seek medical attention immediately after arriving at my destination. Despite providing all necessary documentation, my claim was still denied based on an inaccurate assumption. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and unsupported during a time when I needed assistance the most.

"Do not use this company"

Do not use this company. I recently went on holiday and obtained an ear infection. I went to see the Dr out there and then went to process my claim.
The online portal didn't work so I tried phoning. I was on hold for 40 minutes and when I finally got through to someone, their signal kept cutting out so I had to hang up.
I phoned back later and after 30 mins finally spoke to someone who was very nice and helpful.
We submitted my claim with the relevant infomation, only to be told that I need a two year full medical history from my GP, and that the summary on the NHS app isn't sufficient and that I have to contact my GP myself.
I spoke to my GP on the phone, went in in person with ID- only to be told that they do not release medical histories and that the insurance company has to contact them directly.
Unfortunately I can't see a positive outcome. Very upset about it as it was a lot of money !
