"Etyre can’t tell when tyre can be delivered, and kept us waiting for 2.5 hours "

Etyre compared to other website is £40 cheaper for fun flat tyre I was looking for.
They did offer 24 hour fitting and I can choose a time slot for fitting at the fitter.
After confirmed for me for the 8:30 slot next morning, I turned up on time for appointment with my run flat tyre, which means I have no spare car and I can only drive the flat tyre for 50 miles.
Been told by fitter that tyre was not delivered. And they were not been informed when it will be sent. We don’t have any notice to mention late delivery neither.

Called eTyre, the lady on the phone said the driver was out for delivery, she can’t narrow the time down for us, but it should be delivered before 12pm. She did offer refund but it’s pointless for us to accept a refund as we do need tyre to be fitted that day!
The uncertainty about when tyre can be delivered also means we have to cancel the train we booked at 11:39, and we can’t do anything apart from wandering around for hours waiting for the driver.
After waiting for 2 hours we called again, the lady told us no more update but same message driver will be with us before 12.
Finally the tyre was delivered 2.5 hours after our appointment time.

The system for appointment between client and fitter isn’t aligned with the delivery system of etyre.

They should notice both fitter and client if they can’t deliver the tyre before the appointment time.
The appointment slot is pointless if nobody knows exactly when tyre will be sent to fitter, it’s totally waste of client’s time too! Suggest to improve the logistic transparency if etyre is proud of quick service within 24 hours and offers precise appointment time.
Royal Mail and Amazon can do it, you can also do it!

Until this happens, we won’t use it again just to save £40 but have to drive 40 mins and wait 2.5 hours.m, cancel train ticket …

Process from start to finish was flawless. Easy website to navigate, plenty of product information, ordering straight forward and great price, communication spot on. Then fitting at local garage (Littlehampton Tyres and Exhaust Service) exactly on time and very efficient. What more could you ask for........oh yes a £25 Amazon voucher. First class.

"How to throw away a good reputation"

I've used Etyres in the past and given them a 5 star review. After the most recent exerience, I'll never use them again. Ordered 4 tyres for our SUV online, selecting Etyres "recommended" product. Headline suggests next day fitting, part way through the order process that becomes a day later and when actually ordering, the first available date is 3 days later.
On the day due for fitting, I get a call from the chosen fitter... The tyres haven't arrived and he can't get any sense out of anyone as to when they might arrive. I spoke to Etyres... Not happy with outcome, no idea when the tyres might be delivered, so cancelled order. Later discovered that they were old stock, superceded tyres, which probably explains why they were recommended to get rid of the stock. Took 2 or 3 days to process the refund, yet they take payment with order, not on day of fitting. Spoke again to the fitter. He got me 4 tyres to fit the next morning.
A bit of research reveals this is not the old Etyres company who went out of business and sold on the name. It also seems looking at reviews that I'm not the only one to have been messed about. A once loyal customer quickly turned into someone who would not use them again in the future. Ever!

"Awful Service and no delivery"

I used to use Etyres and even recomended them to a friend not so long ago who was let down and had to get a refund. I thought to myself it must just be a one off. I ordered 4 tyres last week and now i am due to recieve them through a mobile fitter i get a call from them to say Etyres never delivered the tyres. I have had to chase them up, have had no feedback, the customer service is rude and seem to have no care its cost me a whole days pay to wait for these tyres. To use the customer services own quote 'As we are a mail order company and delivery of tyres is not guaranteed'. They clearly have no care for customers and the service is abysmal and would never recomend them again. I now have to wait 6 days for a refund! BE VERY CAREFUL USING THIS SITE
