This purchase was great! We searched for a long time to find the perfect flag stones at the best price, and this company was our choice. Cheapest out there and free delivery too! Even though we are at the other end of the country. The flagstones came very well packed with none of them cracked.

I can honestly say I have never dealt with a more abrupt, arrogant and rude person/company as this one. I ordered some Indian stone online on a Saturday and received a confirmation email, I didn’t hear anything and on the Tues(or wed) I contacted the company to ask when delivery was. I was passed over to a lady who went on to inform me that I had to pay an extra £50 something pounds because of my streets inaccessibility, she went on to say I live on a small close with a bendy rd and would need to have the pallets split into two. Obviously I wasn’t happy about the extra charge but as she told me it was stated on the website I paid it, at this point I was more annoyed at the fact that I had not had a call to tell me this and I had to ring them, however I paid it and asked when it would be delivered, the lady (being very abrupt and short with me) said that she could have it here by Friday. Today is Monday and still no sign of it so I contacted the company to ask where it was. I told the lady that I paid the extra so it was split into two pallets and she very rudely interrupted me stating that that was because it had to be split into two pallets. She said it was showing as scanned and when I said it should have been here Friday she said well it’s with the delivery depot so there’s nothing I can do about it now. I asked when I can expect it as I have the builders on-site waiting on the stone but again I was rudely interrupted by her saying she’ll speak to the local depot and get back to me. Feeling like I had been fobbed off I asked would I get a reply today and she said she was there until half four and she’ll do it now and ended with a very arrogant “ok”, I didn’t even get to finish my “ok” and she hung up. The pallet company called me soon after and told me it would be Wednesday and having told the nice guy what had happened and the builders were here waiting he moved some things around and got me in for tomorrow instead. I then got another call from the company to tell me that it was coming tomorrow. I honestly wish I’d have got a refund on this when I was being charged extra for the delivery as I’ve since found it cheaper anyway but as i was told it was coming I decided to leave it. I can honestly say I will never use this company again nor would I recommend them to anybody and I suggest a lot of work needs to be done with regards to its customer service standards and the way it’s staff portrays the company over the telephone.
Update. 26/04/22
The delivery company attempted delivery but turned up in a artic wagon which (as we already know) wouldn’t fit down my rd so he drove off. I contacted the pallet company and they insisted that despite me paying extra they were definitely not told that the delivery needed to be on a smaller truck due to my street. I was told it would be on tues (after Easter) now and that was the earliest they had. On tues I rang them in the morning and was told it will definitely be here today between 4 and 5 as we are so far away. 5 came and went and no delivery arrived. I called them in the morning the day after and the guy that I’d spoke to the day before answered, he apologised but didn’t know what went on, I was put on hold and then a few minutes later a lady came on and said they were having trouble sorting out a van. Obviously this information would have been nice the day before but she assured me it would be here at 8am the day after, it turned up at 9:30. 2 broken 900x600 slabs and 3 broken 600x600 not sure if this is 10% but to be quite honest I didn’t want to call I’d rather write it off as a bad job and purchase some more from somewhere else.
