"Delivery awful"

Quality of the paving is excellent.
The delivery is poor, the item was delivered to me on a pallet by a pallet company that couldn’t wheel the pallets onto my gravel driveway. This meant the delivery was left on the council road which I then had to manually unload and reload onto separate pallets on the drive. 4 pallets full. Very inconvenient!

One of the worst buying experiences I think I have had. Initial correspondence was good with questions answered - once I placed the order and paid ... false promises - mainly by Mark who admitted he was the Line Manager - God knows how! I had builders due on Thursday after being told Flags would arrive on Wednesday - they didn't arrive. Telephoned at 4.15pm, 4.30pm and 4.45pm on Wed to chase and was promised a call back each time to update the situation - Nothing - I rang back at 4.55pm and got an answerphone as they had closed.
Due to Bank Holiday, the Flags arrived the following Tuesday.
I had 10.5m2 of Raj Green which was obviously the crap picked out from other full packs.
They might be the cheapest but cheap doesn't always mean the best - Buy local if you can so you can speak face to face and also see what you are getting.

Received a call from Matt (Boss) who was very helpful in rectifying my issues. He listened with empathy to my predicament and unfortunately what had happened, time couldn't rectify that, but going forward he replaced the 'unusable' pieces on a next day delivery and followed up with phone calls to see if things had gone to plan. Now a satisfied customer.

All slabs turned up saturated and smothered in mould ,all packaging was stuck to slabs,so each slab had to be washed and scrubbed individually,slabs were stacked in a manner without help from a neighbour would have all fallen and smashed,because it was impossible to hold so many and cut strappings without a domino effect,contacted suppliers via email supported with photos,but no response,very very disappointed,will not be using them again

Got a call From Matt from buygardenpaving. he has totally restored my faith in the company, he listened to what I had to say and sent out the missing setts. well its amazing the difference between members of staff in a family business I will defiantly return to Matt for the paving for the front garden refurbishment .
