"WORST COMPANY DO NOT USE IT"
I had really bad experience if i knew it before i never ever went to them. they installed fully heating system at my property system was installed by none experienced sub contractors who did not manged to balance in the system for full property so my bedroom was not heating up according to rooms required temperature i notified to customer service person named Kristi she took the payment from me and she said leave with me this i will sort it out her main purpose was to get money not to solve the issue several time tried to contact but use less.
however i am going to complain via citizen advice to quality standard and other relevant forms as well.
I suggest to new customers try to avoid their use services these people are professional to trap with polite chat after that.......

"After a year of chasing for an…"
After a year of chasing for an appointment for boiler replacement; no shows, no call backs etc I finally got the boiler replaced. I was initially happy with the work carried out and the engineers who came out for install, they were friendly and tidy. However, after a fault with the electrics was discovered the same day after they left, it took 8 weeks to fix, due to lack of communication. No call backs when messages left. We were left with no heating during the coldest time of year and they did nothing to help. The only way it was solved was by our own local plumber who spent the whole day fixing mistakes made. I am still trying to resolve the issue with this company even now and have had no response. Appaling customer service.

"DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!"
Forced to sign away statutory rights to cancel, then wrong boiler partly installed...no heat, no hot water, no cooking, whilst I wait until who knows when for someone at 50Five to take responsibility and correct their mistakes. Meanwhile, nothing but excuses from the office staff. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I have no complaints with this firm from start to finish. I would definitely recommend them to others. The staff on the end of the phone to the men that came to fit the boiler Wer very efficient.

"Delighted with 50five"
We got 4 quotes before replacing the boiler. 50five were willing to negotiate the price slightly and offered a better guarantee, sobwe chose them.
The sales rep and customer services team were friendly and polite, always called when arranging.
Liam did the installation with minimal disruption and in good time. He seems a lovely bloke. Luke the electrician explained the smart thermostat clearly.
Everything works beautifully, we have heat in one room that would never heat up before and we’re very pleased with the service.
The only negative - it came with a free Echo Dot. We already have 2, so the kids argued over who should get this one!

"Do not use!!!"
1. Our hallway was scuffed during the installation/removal of the previous boiler. This was unacceptable as we had only just had it redecorated
2. The electrician who was supposed to arrive on the same day (Friday) as the boiler installation didn’t show up. We were promised a “first appointment” on Monday but they didn’t show up until Tuesday. This meant our heating was on constantly and uncomfortable to live in.
3. The person who showed up to complete the Nest thermostat installation was quite rude. Upon opening the front door, the engineer was on his mobile and when my husband opened the door, he was greeted with a “I’m on the phone with my mum”. Not very professional.
4. When asked for a business card or ID, the engineer was not able to provide anything. Surely this is a minimum requirement for most tradespeople?
5. My husband, who was unwell at the time, gave the engineer £50 cash to purchase a Nest cradle, as recommended. This took an hour to complete and a receipt for £30 was provided to 50Five as they had promised to refund this cost.
We had subsequently complained that the Nest didn’t sit stable in the cradle. 50Five had promised a replacement, but this has not materialised for months.
6. A cable was missing so the engineer sent me a picture of what I needed to purchase. Not knowing whether or not an electrical socket as provided, I purchased a unit from Robert Dyas on my way home from work, costing £14.99.
A few days later, I discovered a black cable on our gravel driveway. So, it seems that the engineer “lost” the cable that led to us having to purchase a replacement.
7. Upon arriving home, I discovered that our previous wall mounted thermostat had only been partially removed. It was disappointing that a liked-for-like swap had not been completed.
8. Rather than doing a complete and good job, the engineer complained to my husband that he was late for his next appointment. Considering we had non-stop heating and waited four days for an electrician to arrive, his attitude was definitely not about assisting customers.
9. When discussing my issues with 50Five, I’ve been offered a paltry £150 discount. Considering we’ve paid an additional c £45 out of pocket to complete the engineer’s shoddy work, we are essentially being given a mere c £105 compensation for the poor work, inconvenience and damage to our property.
I would urge everyone to think twice about using 50Five!

Firstly, thank you to the staff at 50five. I don't know why there is bad reviews because I have had such a great service from the team there!
I had a hot water cylinder and an air source heat pump supplied and fitted by 50five and it has changed my life for the better. I was always so afraid to use my heating because oil is just so costly me and my husband was spending more than £1200 a year on oil but now I can have heat all hours of the day, it is perfect!
When I found out about the government heating incentive and I would be PAID to use a cleaner source of heating I had an assessment done on my house and before I knew it the work had been done. Again, thank you 50five!
