i recently had the pleasure of having my air source heat pump fitted and finally got rid of my £1500 per year LPG bill. I can't thank them enough, The whole team was very helpful and professional, from when the 50Five representative came round to assess, the surveyor who completed my heat loss survey and the guys that installed my ASHP. I'm looking forward to deciding how to spend my savings plus the tax free income i'm now receiving through the governments RHI scheme for having this green source of heat installed at my home.

Air source heat pump fitted; the service was thorough, honest and answer all my questions. I was sceptical to begin after a bad experience with a solar panel provider. Can’t thank the surveyor enough for his patience with me and deligience.

I recently had a Mitsubishi Air Source Heat Pump fitted by 50five i can honestly say the whole experience was perfect other than having to ring head office to arrange for the rubbish to be collected.
The salesman/assessor visited us about 4 weeks prior to the installation this was arranged after we replied to a facebook add.
I was paying about £1475 PA on oil to heat the home but now no oil biil just a 30% increase on my electric bill, I have just arrange for the big old steel tank to be removed after 15 years I think a vegetable patch will finally be in sight as myself and the wife have wanted one for years.
Just wanted to let people know they done a fantastic job and saved me a fortune on my heating bills plus the government pay me the RHI and give me £1150 PA for 7 years towards it!

DO NOT USE 50five for your heating. First appointment was 15 November, 3 visits followed to assess the job.
Engineer arrived from Doncaster (we are in Peterborough) to find he had been given all the wrong information and could not start the job.
It is now January 23 and 5 telephone calls & 4 emails later and no-one has been back to us. We have cancelled the order and STILL WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO ASK WHY and Return our £100 deposit.

Back to my previous review of 50Five they sent an engineer to take more photos on the 16th Jan I hoped this would be enough to satisfy them, offered tea or coffee, he asked to take more photos which obviously I said would be fine (I said take as many as you want)
Unfortunately, didn’t hear back for next seven days so contacted EON who told me they still had not received images required but they were chasing photos from 50Fve.
Cold and grumpy phoned 50five and was told they would send info to EON today 23rd Jan
I am very cold and possibly smelly, the average temperature in my house is 2C and it gets colder at night.
Like I said before God help more Erdely or sick people!!!

"Avoid!!!"
This is literally the worst company I have had the misfortune of dealing with. I paid the full amount for a new boiler to the salesman. He assured me on more than one occasion that because my boiler wasn’t working (in mid-winter) and I have 3 children, I would have the new boiler installed within days. After paying in excess of £3000, I heard nothing from 50Five. I made 5 phone calls to them, and was assured that I would be called back with an installation date. I did not receive one phone call back. After 2 weeks of no contact from them, I decided that this company was unreliable at best. I therefore decided to cancel my order with them, and requested my money back. I was told that this would happen within 7-10 working days. This time passed and no refund was made. After an email to them and waiting for several more days for the refund, I contacted my credit card company and Which. The credit card company responded very quickly and refunded the money. Strangely, after being contacted by these 2 companies, 50Five refunded the money. They caused untold stress, and I still have no boiler as I couldn’t afford to buy another boiler until my money had been refunded. My house is being heated by fan heaters and goodness knows what my electricity bill will be. In my opinion, I would avoid this company like the plague.I wish now I had read all the online reviews, most of which are scathing.

Gas boiler replacement.
Initial survey was more thorough than the three others I had done. Great advice from surveyor about relocating the boiler. Follow up survey by technical engineer a few days later. No change in original price quote. Installation a few weeks later done by Liam and Steph. Fantastic people, installation went smoothly, no damage to carpets etc: as they laid plastic carpet protectors in all areas they had to work. Liam and Steph did a fantastic job and removed all the rubbish( old boiler & hot water cylinder leaving everything looking as if they hadn't been there.
50 five didn't rush for full payment, it was over 2 weeks before they called me for payment.
About 6 weeks after installation I had a call from technical engineer asking if he could check out the finished job, which I declined as I was away at the time. Boiler is working great and the NEST thermostatic control is great. I can set the temperature etc with my mobile and the clever thing with NEST is that it can start heating your home automatically when it detects you are about 10 minutes away.
All in all a great experience from this company. I would recommend them to anyone. Price was also the best I could find for the job.
