"Fabulous customer service"

Fabulous customer service from Laura Stacey. Logged an issue in the morning and had an electrician that night. He attended on time and very quickly found the fault and rectified.

"Worst experience ever"

A guy called Stephen came to do a survey. He was unpleasant, rude, aggressive and tried to sell me a boiler for the double of its actual costs. He made also some racist and machist comments.
If he is a representative of this company I cannot suggest it at all.

"Cowboys full rip out and install in a…"

Cowboys full rip out and install in a day but my house is fully destroyed holes in the walls née bathroom radiator with very old wallpaper behind it. Because it was done in one day I couldn't get in there to clean the walls and get them looking ok. They are subcontractors for eon and dealing with them is a joke because they blame each other like kids . plus they only put trunking over the pipes because I called but the big copper pipe the rapped around my house is just exposed and looks like crap avoid this company. Plus check out the 5 star reviews only most of reviewers have 1 or 2 reviews

"Poor reliability from installation engineers"

Kirsty and Laura in customer service were really excellent and did a great job pacifying me by re-arranging missed appointments and sorting out the charge point which didn't initially work after installation.
Facts are the EV charge was only installed on the 4th planned appointment and when installed required numerous calls to get it set up right as it didn't work correctly at first when my EV car arrived.

"NO!!! JUST DON’T!!!!!"

NO!!!! Whatever you do, please do not use this company! We had our electric radiators replaced with a full heating system and boiler by 50five and they have done the most horrific job I have ever seen! First of all, the subcontractors were rude and arrogant, they told me they would have to lift the carpets off the floor but they will be put back on as they were, in their words ‘you wouldn’t even be able to tell we ever touched them!’ WRONG!!!! They absolutely destroyed my brand new carpets, we’ve only been living in the house for about 6 months and we had everything brand new when we moved! They ripped the underlay and when it came to putting the carpets back they just threw in broken pieces of underlay with the carpet on top making the floors/carpets bumpy and uneven; not to mention they never secured the carpets back on the grippers-I couldn’t Hoover properly for months cause the hoover would just lift the carpets up! They left broken floor boards, they chopped the floor boards and left them unsecured, pipes were left unsecured under the floor boards and they were making a horrible rattle noise whenever the heating was on, they left rubbish and cans of red bull under the floorboards-absolute brutes! Not to mention that all this was happening in the middle of the pandemic this year ( March 2021) and not at any point did they wear a mask in my house nor did they ask me if I was ok with them not wearing a mask! Secondly-awful customer service and care for the customer! After we saw the state of the carpets, we obviously rang and complained to 50five- their customer service is shocking,the waiting and the promise of a call back are absolutely endless! We finally got Mark(the project manager) coming out to assess my house and my carpets, cause me being in floods of tears on the phone wasn’t good enough…he came and he saw, and in his words “well if someone did this in my house, I would be absolutely fuming”! But that didn’t stop him from delaying the process of compensating us for the damage, it took them 6 months to pay a fraction of what we were quoted by our initial carpet fitter! Their excuse was always “well they fit boilers, they’re not carpet fitters!” So why send them in people’s houses to damage something they won’t be able to repair?! Because they only paid just about enough for us to buy new underlay and all the grippers and everything else that was damaged, myself and my partner had to refit the carpets- and we are also not carpet fitters, but we made the carpets look like new! So please, never ever use this company! No matter how desperate you are or how cheap you think they might be…don’t do this to yourselves! You’ll only end up paying a lot more to fix the damage!

"50Five EV Charge Point Installation"

50Five were helpful and courteous to deal with. Before the installation they kept me informed of what stage we were at and any requirements from me. They also handled last minute reschedules well (caused by covid restrictions). The installers turned up on time, were very friendly and helpful with my (sometimes stupid) questions! The charge point is installed exactly where I wanted it and the cabling is well hidden. The charge point works absolutely fine from the first time used.
