Bought an s19j Pro from them year or so ago ran for all of 6 months before it went down. While waiting MONTHS for a repair update I was finally told it was just an O2 sensor that needed to be replaced. Paid another 500$ for the repair deposit just to be told another month later that the whole miner was fried and that asic chips were missing/broken from the hash boards. I guess somehow the original diagnostic person didn’t notice a fried board with missing asic chips? Makes no sense. Not to mention I’m still waiting two months later for my $500 repair deposit to be returned.

High hopes dashed by reality of high fees and costs built into their platform along with the splitshares system. It was worth a try, but I do not recommend.

I bought a 1/100 share of a machine/miner and wanted to see how the platform performs before investing more. I'm sure glad I did. My total balance of BTC after a year of letting the service run was under $12. So 360 days of making $10 A DAY in mining turns out to be a wash. The fees and costs eat up every bit of the proceeds and buying more shares would not impact the income producing in the end as the fees appear to be setup to eat up every bit of the income potential. Scammy feeling at this point after watching a daily payout get eaten by fees hundreds of times. even if it was 100x (one whole miner) the payout extrapolated out would be less than the initial invesment cost. I encourage you to find another way.

"2 Year Experience: Honest Review"

Before you consider using Mining Syndicate for anything, consider my 2 years of experience below.

Purchasing:
Bought a used S19 Pro. Minimal snags.
Bought L7 9500: Received a 9050 after 4 months.
Bought 5 new S19J Pros for hosting: 5-6 month wait. Was given used and broken miners. Didn't find out until I ended hosting and received the miners 1 year later.

Hosting:
4month avg - Over 50% downtime. Miners weren't repaired. Miners weren't cleaned. No air filters used. Miners filled with dust, mud and insects. Miners physically damaged.

Customer Service:
Constant run-arounds and no answers, especially with hosting. Was promised newer miners to replace my fraudulent used S19J Pros but was sent back the same broken, used miners that I sent back.


UPDATE 11/11/23: MS sent me two S19 Pros (104Th), seemingly as an apology. These miners are in pretty good condition, hashing for one day now. Thank you MS.

In summary, I like what they're trying to do, but they're still a little disorganized. I hope this review helps someone.

"They will “lose” your machine."

I was a customer for a few months and during that time my machine was offline numerous times while they moved it from facility to facility. March 24th 2023 was the last day my machine was online. Since then I was called by DD Lewis who stated my machine was lost. She also stated she spoke with her boss and I would receive another machine and a few months of free hosting. That was months ago and as of September 1st, 2023 I still have no machine or any contact with anyone in the company. Beware

"Unprofessional and unresponsive"

I had my miners sent to me after fulfilling my year term. They were sent in poorly packaged boxes and one sustained damage. No additional insurance was purchased and they weren't going to take any responsibility. Multiple billing issues, takes weeks to get answers or updates. They disappear for weeks at a time when new miners are available to buy but aren't delivered for months after their arrival date. There are many other retail mining hosting companies. Use them instead and avoid any issues with these people.

"Took my losses and left MS"

This is a review about Ming Syndicate’s miner sales and hosting services. Unlike many reviewers here, including me that were offered discounts and free services for a good review, I felt it was important to leave a honest review of my almost 2 years with them.

You can expect that your miner will not be deployed on time, all of mine were delayed at least 4 months due to space issue’s. Once deployed my miners were bounced from host site to host site due to lost contracts and site power issues. You will always have at least 5% downtime somehow and if you want credits it’s up to you to track and request those. Don’t expect any communication on curtailments or site downtime, they have been promising a new communication system since I started, and it’s still not there. Long delays on email response due to staff shortages and due to the owner wanting to handle all billing personally. And when you request your miners be returned you, if they were like mine, they will be dirty, full of leaves, rusted through, with signs of being dropped on the ground. My two years with MS cost me $14k in damaged miners, and due to downtime I was just breaking even each month. I would not recommend them until they start to host internally more, find a better billing and customer communication system, and restaff several key positions with individuals that are more customer centric.
