Excellent customer service supervisor Matthew Taylor. After many things that nobody else answer me, explained to me or I received from them since January 31,2019 when I switched to People Trust. Matt was the only one that in less than a week fix, updated and square things on my policy.

"I Don't Trust People's Trust Insurance"

People's Trust Insurance feels like a SCAM.

Every thing fell apart when they sent their Inspector over to approve our home for Insurance. His name was Dale and he did not follow through with all the inspections that People's Trust told me he would. He did not check any plumbing, he did not get on the roof to inspect, all he did was take a lot of pictures of the inside and outside of our home. His inspection was done in under 10 minutes.

He ALSO made me very uncomfortable when he asked me specifically what days I go into work. That is NOT a question I want to hear from some one who has just taken pictures of my what's in my home.

He requested to look at the front of the house without me, since it was on his way out, so I said "ok".

We then got notified, a week later, that our Insurance was being canceled because Dale found an "Indication of Asbestos" on the front of our house (the one area he checked where I wasn't physically next to him). We called and asked People's Trust to see the copy of the Inspection Report so we could take the appropriate next steps. They refused to allow us access to that very report that was denying us coverage, but instead gave us two pictures of the area where the "Indication of Asbestos" was. We had the area tested and the results show that the area DOES NOT have Asbestos.

This whole process with People's Trust reeks of the predatory cliche of entrapping new homeowners into a policy, then finding any reason to drop them, even manufacturing a carefully worded one to do so. In the end, People's Trust Insurance cost us a bunch of money and we feel wronged.
